Man. I've been doing it wrong all these years. I thought that if I pretended to be a drunk lonely geek that i'd get in for free.

Never worked.

He wasn't just impersonating a cop, he was doing it badly.  Walks in with a badge for one agency, claims to be from another, and when questioned he says he hasn't been employed by any law enforcement agency since 2011, makes me very curious as to why he's no longer employed.

Were the arresting officers a smooth-talking out-of-town cop investigating the death of a friend, and a stern, "by-the-book" officer who was worried about being at a strip club while on duty?

Just pretend to be a girl instead.  Most of the time girls get in for free.

Wow, back in the late 80's and early 90's one of my friends was a manager at that place.  Wonder if he's still there.

/once you see a strip club from the inside perspective you'll never go to one again

Because there are always cops around strip joints.
Also donut shops.

5 minutes from FIT campus, I'm surprised they wouldn't charge double for them.

Had a buddy who became a cop in Oregon.  When he came back to visit, went out drinking and went to the Jungle Room, a strip club in Phoenix, jungle motif, the girls swing on vines, etc.  He pulled out a camera and tried to take pics of the girls, pulled out his badge when the bouncers got in his face.  Wound up dumped on the sidewalk rather unceremoniously, camera confiscated.  Went to pick it up the next morning, all pics had been erased except for one shot of all the bouncers together, middle fingers upraised.  He's since been promoted to Detective, and doesn't understand why I take a dim view of cop intelligence, thinks he and his fellow officers are well above average.  He's a good guy, just not the brightest candle on the Menorah.

/"How was I to know you couldn't take pictures of the girls?"
