TheManMythLegend: Alonjar: They say it is illegal, under state law, to set gas prices too low because it is a regulated industry.Classic.I assume many states have this law, it purpose is to prevent a big company cornering the market and driving out small gas stations that can't have a lost leader or need a larger profit margin to stay afloat.
Wellon Dowd: musicmanboston: $3.85 per gallon is a discount? That's $0.40 more than here in Virginia. Sheesh.That's because we have some of the lowest gas taxes in the country. Why have the people using the roads pay for them when you can get the non-drivers to subsidize them via the general sales tax?
