"Galifianakis introduced Haist to Renee Zellweger, who furnished the octogenarian's apartment. Haist was unfamiliar with the celebrated actress."

Expect a movie version soon. Written by Apatow, starring Galifianakis, Zellweger and Betty White.

Figures so few comments when it comes to something good.  Kudos to him.  Should be more Hollywood types like this.

I like Galifianakis. I like his standup and random stuff he does. He kinda veers towards Kaufman style troll comedy, which is definitely a compliment. This just makes him extremely cool in my eyes. Seems as fame hasn't really gotten the best of him.

But he has a funny looking beard Whaaa.. I hate him for no real reason Whaaa. I'm so hip that I only like comedians you've probably never heard of Whaaa.

He didn't just take a homeless woman to an event, he got her an apartment a couple of years ago when he found out she was homeless and pays for her rent and utilities. Sounds like an awesome dude to me.

Good show, old chap.  That's how money and fame should be handled.

i never saw anything that would make me think he's a dick

but he is a strange one

i think one of his funnier things is when he's in the character of his effiminate naive brother

Meh, 1/10.

You blew it by not paying attention to the timeline.  He did the really important stuff before he hit it big, and he's never made a big deal out of the (several) cool things he's done for folks just because it was the right thing to do.

Good on him. And better on him, because he did it when he himself was struggling.

Feel the same. So few actors/acresses who, in MHO, are worthy of their celebrity status. I'm not a fan of his, haven't seen any movies, but I probably will.
I tend to give money of those who aren't douchbags. Makes for a short list, but usually more enjoyable.

I don't think he's funny in the slightest, on his own. But awesome for him to actually do something like this.

I might actually go pay to see Hangover 3 now.

Aw, shucks, that's adorable.  He's kind of a weird one for me, on paper, he gets a check for all the right things, but at the end of the day, it'shiat or miss whether I find him attractive.

Good for him, though.  I'd love to be in a position to help people out like that.  And so many people who are in that position, simply don't help others.

Zach Galifianakis has the best Hollywood facial hair since...ever. Few guys look that good with a beard.
