AverageAmericanGuy: I doubt it was a conscious decision. More like they just kept spending more and more time on the ground until one day they found that they couldn't fly anymore. Kind of how couples who live together for a long time have a hard time breaking up even though they are terrible to each other.


I think someone needs a hug...
