hitlersbrain: I like the idea of a person coming up with an idea having a patent to make sure no one profits from his idea without him getting piece... at least for a while. The problem is when so many things are patented that there is no possible way to do anything without paying a fortune in patent fees. I think we need to chop off patents after it's holder has made sufficient profit or find some other way of having it expire.
