I think he is mad because someone else is getting the adulation for coming out as the first gay NBA player.

I always thought Mr. Rodman was gay, he colors his hair purple and wears wedding dresses. I just assumed.

2013-05-20 08:34:29 PM
I thought he was openly bisexual when he played?

He's actually quite sane. Just stylish.

It's some of these conservative stuffed suits that need professional help. You just can't see it.

FTFA: Trump asked Rodman about his headline-grabbing trip in February to rogue nation North Korea and his bromance with leader Kim Jong Un.

'He was a good guy to me - I don't care what he does besides that,' Rodman insisted.

'He's just like anybody else in the world, man - he shook my hand, he laughed, he smiled. That was it.'

Dear Dennis Rodman:

On behalf of the estimated 150,000 North Koreans imprisoned in the country's system of gulags and "work camps," fu*ck you. It's nice to know that the fat-faced dictator can be nice to you and shake your hand, and it just makes all the other problems go away. If you don't know about it, it's not happening, right? Everyone else is wrong, because Kim Jong-un laughed and smiled and shook your hand. It's nice to see that all your success hasn't done anything to interfere with your completely self-centered view of the world.

Do everyone a favor: If you ever decide to go back to North Korea, stay there.

Sincerely,

Fark Me To Tears

He's not crazy, he's a wanna-be drag queen. I just wish he was better at it.

'He was a good guy to me - I don't care what he does besides that,' Rodman insisted.

...a really self-centered, wanna-be drag queen.

Improved accuracy.

Do you realize that a few weeks ago, President Obama woke up, had breakfast, read the morning national intelligence briefing and it was about Dennis Rodman's visit to North Korea. Talk about a "WTF am I reading" moment...

hey look, the press is paying attention to dennis rodman again. Jay Leno has been waiting for this for years. Maybe Michael Jackson and OJ will hit the news again

Wow, I never thought about that. That is hilarious. I bet he leaned over and said something like "Hey, Michelle look at this crap, look what this idiot is up to. I bet he wasn't wearing a dress over there."

He's always been insane.  Since he was with the Pistons and Bulls, nobody took notice because of the strong personalities on those teams that kept him (mostly) in check.  Starting with the Spurs and then the Mavs...it was pretty apparent he was crazy.  Not it's apparent to everyone that he's batshiat crazy.

He's not insane, he's just really, really, really farking dumb

2013-05-21 03:16:30 AM
He's not crazy, he's an attention whore.  He's been out of the limelight for a long time, and he got a taste for it again after his North Korea visit.  Now that no one is paying attention to him again, he's gotta do something to get people talking.

2013-05-21 03:53:47 AM
One time, back in his glory days with the Bulls, he got called for a lane violation on his second free throw because he stumbled across the line while shooting... because he was laughing so hard at how badly he'd bricked the first.

Other than that, I can't see any evidence of psychological instability in the intervening twenty years. If only we'd had some sign before he plunged into madness. IF ONLY!

Yea, he does need professional help. WITH HIS MAKEUP AND JACKET, they totally don't go together. Other than that, I think he looks FABULOUS.

Haters gonna hate.

He's not insane. How many other players are still in the news 15 years after retirement?

No, subby.
He's wealthy and doesn't have to work, therefore he doesn't have to conform to any social norms.

Yep.  Last lines of dialog in "Men In Black", from 1997:

Elle: Hey, Jay! Zed called. The high consulate from Solaxiant 9 wants floor seats for the next Bulls game.
Jay: All right, let's put in a call to Dennis Rodman. He's from that planet.
Elle: Rodman? You're kidding.
Jay: Nope.
Elle: Not much of a disguise.

If farking Carmen Electra in her prime is on the table, I might.  The devil held up his end of the bargain, Rodman is doing the same.

You are apparently unfamiliar with the financial acumen of professional athletes.  His net worth is 1 million dollars in the hole.  He did get to bang Cindy Crawford tho.

This.

It's not even close to the most outrageous thing he's ever worn, either.

Toward the end of his career with the Bulls he used to ride around on his motorcycle in a wedding dress. Dude is a little odd but whatever.

Fun fact:  The Union officer that developed those guns (Thomas J. Rodman) spent the entire war working at the Watertown Arsenal to design bigger and more reliable cannon.  Lincoln and Grant were so impressed, right before the end of the war they had the Army issue him three brevet promotions in one day.  One day in March 1865 he woke up a major and ate lunch as a brigadier general.

I presume the reasoning, other than the prestige of being able to call himself a wartime general was the pension benefits available to even brevetted generals.

A broke-ass Dennis Rodman going to North Korea to hang out and be feted by a third generation tin pot tyrant I can almost understand but going on Trump's show?

That's just nuts.

'I want your barber.'

You're not fooling anyone, Dumbald.

Rodman competed in the all-star season, but was fired in April after his team spelled the name of Trump's wife Melania wrong.

He's not insane at all.  He knows exactly what he's doing.  He's trying to get into the media.  And it worked, perfectly.
