KhamanV: Probably they pulled it because it was pretty thoroughly debunked by the LA Times and the story is now the property of freeperville, Rense, and Infowars.
Triumph: In 2007, Rolling Stone published an article called "The Last Confessions of E. Howard Hunt." Hunt essentially confessed to being involved in the JFK assassination. The article was scrubbed from their website completely within a couple months, making the print copy very collectible. I'd love to know the full journalism backstory behind that one.
