Never heard of it. Probably some heavy metal long-hair nonsense.

Fixed what exactly? No one was disputing the numbers, and the broken link you provided doesn't answer what Atillathepun meant with his comment.

But thanks for the link.

/... you are aware that it shows a 20 point drop since inaguration, right? and that it stops before the recent round of scandal-ettes?

How exactly is a poll from 17-19. May stopping before the recent round of "scandals"?

Also it was always going to drop after the inauguration.

Lando Lincoln: Keizer_Ghidorah: I'm not gonna say it's because he's black, but since no other president in the history of the country has had to deal with this much idiocy - not even the white president who WAS born in a different country - on a day-to-day basis...

We get it, he's black.

I think it's primarily because the Republican party has seriously gone off the rails of sanity, and Obama is just the unfortunate one to be stuck dealing with them.

But some of it has to do with him being a different color than them, yes.

And also: PAY ATTENTION TO US!! WHY ISN'T ANYONE TAKING US SERIOUSLY!! THIS IS SERIOUS GODDAMN IT!!!

MJMaloney187: DrPainMD: The last president who tried to control his administration was Kennedy, and look where it got him. The only way to control the federal government would be for the president to invoke the War Powers Act and start bombing the shiat out of DC. Then, put the survivors on the "kill on sight" list and send the SEALs after them.

You know how I know you're getting audited by a drone?

What I propose is legal under current US law.

How is legally subpoenaing phone records in the investigation of a CRIME which threatened the life of undercover agents and the families thereof, a 'blatant violation' of the First Amendment?

How is the IRS investigating the massive influx of  Republican party fronts conservative organizations filing for tax exempt status (that they probably didn't deserve, as blatantly-political organizations, but never had that status denied anyway) a 'blatant violation' of the First Amendment?

Do you remember how the official release of his birth certificate on the governments own website was an unflattened image document? Showing the numerous revisions? Or had that thought left you after all the propaganda? Just like how they found and reported on finding the passport of one of the hijackers from 9/11 in the rubble?

Uhhhhh - NO. Subby, that's the opposite of what he should do. The more he embraces manufactured, forced controversies the more he'll be connected to them regardless of whether it's really appropriate or not. Putting on some BS dog and pony show projecting forced caring about one controversy after another that the GOP tries to Millhouse in to the zeitgeist would only lend those garbage controversies undeserved legitimacy.

The best thing he can do is be as aloof, detached and professional about them. Keep them at arm's length at all times and let them stink in some other corner of the room.

And up next: why can't the other team score on our constantly moving goal posts??

It's actually quite a brilliant strategy by the Repubs: generate so many fake scandals at such a furious rate that it would be LITERALLY impossible to saliently address them all.

Used to see it ALL THE TIME in high school debate. It was an especially underhanded move that worked wonders at the amateur level: speak as quickly as possible, making as many points as possible, then next round call out your opponent for not answering every single one. That's the level these people are operating at: amateur high school debate.

Well, its not about guns, so that rules out the 2nd.  And its not about state's rights, so that rules out the 10th.    So the only amendment left is the 1st, right?  By process of elimination.

Yeah, I remember when Obama started a major ground war based on lies, and gave no-bid contracts for the 'rebuilding' to the Vice President's old company. The questions that were asked had nothing to do with their request for tax exemption. It was a clear attempt to intimidate them using the color of the law. This is a violation of their civil rights and is 100% against the law.

It has been happening since FDR from presidents to congressmen.
