23 year old, who is father of a 9 year old.

23 - 9 = 14.

I'm totally shocked that this man would make such a mistake.

/assuming the child isn't adopted.

Do we really need to arrest this person and fark up any chance he has of getting a job? They were in a parking lot, FFS.

They were in the farking parking lot, doesn't read like drugs or alcohol was in involved

Do we seriously need to take this shiat to felony level?

Whiplash!!!: Do we really need to arrest this person and fark up any chance he has of getting a job? They were in a parking lot, FFS.

Something tells me this guy would just find something else to do to get arrested, especially considering that he "has outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants in other jurisdictions. "

Considering he had at least one felony warrant, yes.

Apparently he has other outstanding felony and misdemeanor charges in other jurisdictions as the article points out.  However, it doesn't say what the specific charges are.

Well, at least he was spending time with his kid.

Likely something stupid like failure to pay support

Man, what's the point of even having kids if you can't make them drive you around when you're drunk.

2013-05-20 12:25:39 PM
Nine year olds, dude...

I, for one, am SHOCKED that the guy that had a kid at age 14 is currently excercising poor judgement.

Almost as bad as when Ted Bell made his daughter drive his loaner Mercedes because he didn't want to be seen in anything with vinyl seats.

Only the coolest Farkers know what I just said.

So now high speeds are something kids "achieve"?  If that's the case, isn't she entitled to some sort of certificate?

He was probably 13 when he made the mistake; you forgot gestation time.

Friend of mine admitting to letting his kids drive the minivan in the parking lot and on a 'deserted' public road 'between parking lots'. This came to light after his 12 year old daughter started pestering him to let her drive while we were having a picnic.

That shows that he has poor decision making ability. Let's keep an eye on this dude before he does something worse.

Because arresting people and putting them in jail clearly gets the support paid

FTFA: A 23-year-old Ohio man is facing a child endangerment charge after allegedly allowing his nine-year-old daughter to drive the family car, a 1998 Honda that the child lost control ofafter "achieving excessive speed" and drove into a tree.

What I don't understand is it child endangerment because his daughter achieved excessive speed and ran into a tree, or simply tooling around a parking lot with someone without a learner permit make it child endangerment (albeit less likely to get caught without the accident).  Since I have two friends whose crotch-fruit recently ran the family car into a tree, and neither of them were charged with child endangerment, I'm going to guess there is some other factor here that doesn't apply to them.

Heh.. this just brings back memories for me. I'll never in my life forget my much older, and seriously farked up cousins getting my third grade ass to drive them to the liquor store... driving a 1968 Pontiac station wagon as a matter of fact, peering through the steering wheel, sitting on a few folded towels so I could see clearly over the dash, with about a 12'' 2x4 laying on the floorboard against the accelerator pedal, and a small 2x4 block duct taped to break pedal... In midday traffic. For me the steering  wheel was just about as big as I could stretch my arms, so they could continue to get their drunk on.. and it was one of the best times of my life... got some serious cred from the neighborhood kids

// was racing cars at 12 on local expressway. My how times have changed.
/// still drive fast.. but much safer

My dad let me drive the car that young. But it was in a HUGE parking lot where it would be real hard to hit anything.

If he'd turned her into a prostitute he could afford a chauffeured limo. That's what you get for having some ethics.

Her dad was 14 when she was born, so how old was her mother?  Let me guess, she was a middle school teacher.
