Wait isn't China helping prop North Korea up?

Seems like a Very Bad Idea for the Norks to kidnap Chinese.

A Terrible Human: Wait isn't China helping prop North Korea up?

The Chinese apparently believe the Kim regime would last less than a year if they stopped giving aid.

Wait, North Korea is poking China?  That is like being the target on the playground and punching the one guy who has your back.

Did George W. write this headline?

China's problem is that they really don't want South Korea on their border because they have a bunch of deals with the Norks to mine resources, and South Korea is a US ally.

The Norks know this and so they treat China like crap.

I am just paraphrasing Victor Cha here. ("The Impossible State").

See!!! This is what I am taking about! You Americans let this guy do these things!

In leading my country I have never done something like this. I wish the global elites would attack North Korea and leave me the hell alone.

The world is trying to frame me upall the while Un is doing 10 times worse things and no one seems to care.

You don't have nukes and your country is flat. Kim the Least has nukes and his country is mostly mountains.

And that guy is about fifty times your size.

Though, the FARK Panel of Experts on Everything TM already have analyzed this thoroughly and come to the conclusion, that this is to garner attention, I humbly disagree.

I think this is local pirates, who are most likely acting out of desperation and greed. A sign that - at least on the fringes - Pyongyang is losing control of the situation. Similarly to what happens in the waters near war torn Somalia. I don't for one second think that the powers that be in NK are interested in creating this kind of attention from China.

I'm no expert though.

That sounds dumb, but so does most of what comes out of NK.

Planet Money left me under the impression that NK sells its fishing rights to China as well.

Go ahead, keep poking China. Eventually they'll get sick of your shiat and kick your ass.

It does make much more sense than NK is poking at China.

Wont it just be funny when they piss off china to the point where China rolls over the boarder and says "mine now".

And instead of a shiat-storm and a war Japan, America, and SK can say "sweet, lets toss an epic party at the 38th".

2013-05-20 01:27:43 PM
Could someone please explain to me why China is still putting up with NK?

stuffy: Could someone please explain to me why China is still putting up with NK?

I'm guessing because if they actually punished NK, it would result in a temper tantrum of epic proportions.

The easiest way to get the Norks inline is to shut off their fuel, which pretty all comes from China, but I think the Norks are actually crazy enough to launch missles at China in retalation.  Yes, that would be stupid.  They are crazy so it would make perfect sense to them.

And north korea is your country...on meth.

Not only will that be funny, that won't even happen.  China has enough people to feed on their own.  They don't want NK's problem.

Glad to see I'm not the only one surprised that NK is kidnapping people from there only ally.

/shouldn't be surprised

Yeah, I imagine your right.

I do think something could happen if conditions continue to deteriorate however. The article as example - China already has to put up with hungry North Koreans. At what point does it become less of a problem to deal directly with the people as opposed to dealing with them through Kim?

At what point do they topple Kim then give the resulting catastrophe back to the south? Sort of like ding-dong-ditch with a burning pile of shiat in a bag. Its the same thing but with a nation sized burning pile of shiat.

Few words get stuck in my craw like the pronunciation of nuclear with two 'u's.  So thanks for that, subby.
