calm like a bomb: Hate him or love him (the former for me), the guy did figure out that conservatives will sop up any old crap he could put out there as long as they were convinced FauxNews was a conservative network.
It's the most popular news program in America because they call a spade a spade. It's not that conservatives sop it up, it's more that liberals don't want to hear the truth. They want to be told a spade is a heart. Bunch of queens.

Agree.

Aren't you contractually obligated to use the term "ditto?"

So, an organization that views "good" journalism as essentially a circle jerk, wants to award Ailes with $250,000 for being the best circle jerker in the world?

Yup. That's a heckuva honor...

I was at the Liberty University graduation ceremony a few weeks ago.  They awarded one of those blond female newscasters from Fox with an award for "Truth in Journalism".

Note that it wasn't for excellency or objectivity in journalism, it was "Truth".

While they were at it, did they also give him the C.M. Burns Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence?

Truthfully, we get mad mostly because they won't let us be a member of their club.  Not even if we offer diamonds.

Hmmmmm...diamonds...I could get on board with that. Then I could afford to go clubbing...

Outrageous Muff: Really? Making liberals outraged is like shooting free range fish in artisan barrel.

I've always found it amusing how conservatives seem to equate "laughing at how dumb conservatives are" with "liberal outrage".

Pfft.  Anyone with money can come up with any award that they want.  That does not mean that the award has any merit.  After all, the Bradley Award is not like the Teen Choice Awards.
