I don't see the problem here.

He did envision a hyper partisan press that promoted infotainment, opinion, and demagoguery and pretended it was "news"

A real journalist was sitting on this car seat when dynamite blew the floor and seat through his testes and rectum and up into his mid-section.

His name was Don Bolles and Roger Ailes and the rest of Fox News shouldn't be called journalists. He was murdered by leaders of Phoenix, Arizona.  Senator Barry Goldwater was involved in the murder.

So, an organization that views "good" journalism as essentially a circle jerk, wants to award Ailes with $250,000 for being the best circle jerker in the world?

Yup. That's a heckuva honor...

calm like a bomb: Hate him or love him (the former for me), the guy did figure out that conservatives will sop up any old crap he could put out there as long as they were convinced FauxNews was a conservative network.

And "fair and balanced."  That was the critical selling point.  Many jackass quotes Fox by starting out, "I'm just trying to be fair, here..."

Being given a journalism award for destroying journalism seems a bit odd.

Outrageous Muff: Really? Making liberals outraged is like shooting free range fish in artisan barrel.

I've always found it amusing how conservatives seem to equate "laughing at how dumb conservatives are" with "liberal outrage".

Well, it hasn't been announced yet, but the New York Post discovered the news from a dead teenage girl's phone they hacked.

It's the most popular news program in America because they call a spade a spade. It's not that conservatives sop it up, it's more that liberals don't want to hear the truth. They want to be told a spade is a heart. Bunch of queens.

You know who disputes Ailes' "visionary" status?
