Did she aspirate it? As a singer and an SLP, I would get a huge kick out of whatever expert testimony she has that can connect nomming on glass to fundamentally changing the frequency range of her voice.

He never gives anyone more than they can handle. This is just a test of her devotion. Either that, or punishment for giving a bj.

That can be...entertaining, in the sense that watching someone do their own wiring can be hilarious...

Damaged and paralyzed vocal cord? That could cause loss of upper range.

Learn how laryngital scarring can drastically change the pitch of your voice.

I used to sing Tenor but due to a sulphuric acid vapor problem in chemistry class (failed vent hood, I inhaled acid vapors) I'm baritone. I went from a squeaky-pitched voice to manlier than my age belied in less than a month.

And it totally farked my sustain. I can't hold a solid note steady for more than a couple of seconds before the scar tissue starts to hurt ad fatigue sets in, causing some often-hilarious tremolo.

If it said she choked on the glass and it shredded her glottis, I'd totally buy the story. However, tfa said nothing to that effect and I can't imagine any other way for it to happen.

Yeah... I'm going to need some medical evidence of scarring before I believe this one.

Your larynx isn't in your mouth.  It also isn't in your esophagus.

Either she's a psychopath who somehow swallowed the glass the wrong way, knowing it would fark her up and allow her to sue, or she's full of shiat.  As her claim is that she bit the glass, not swallowed it, I'm going with the latter case.

I can imagine a lot of ways that glass going through the trachea would cause damage to her throat. But as I replied to someone else earlier, the article doesn't say she aspirated it. If you aspirate a piece of glass, your singing range would be the least of your worries.

Finding of cause and negligence.
Supreme court ruled that the time of suit allowable is the time that truthful cause is found, not date the incident occurred.

I worked at a McDonald's back when they still used Styrofoam boxes for the Big Macs, and even way back then I don't remember anything in the place that came in a glass container. I would question where in the world the glass came from--the only thing I can think of  (and it's a heck of a stretch) would be the face on a temperature gauge or the little red light on the deep fryer. Unless, being as that was well over 20 years ago and it is well past 3 am here, something obvious has escaped my notice.

Heh, I went through my own "I can fix anything" phase...I can do a fair bit around the house, but the first time I got that spooky tingly feeling working on wiring that I THOUGHT was un-powered, I went, "You know what, I'm getting a pro up in here".

Respect Charles Darwin = words to live by.  Literally.

Could've been something back at the food processing plant, or a packaging plant pretty far back in the supply chain.
