(YouTube) Video You know that big crazy-ass tornado monster that ripped through Oklahoma this evening? Here is some impressive footage of some of its appendages. The editing? Well not so much. Still worth seeing   (youtube.com) divider line 14

Worth watching despite the bad editing...that's some unbelievable tornadoage right there.

Our power was out for 6 hours.  There were people killed less than 10 miles away from my house.  You have to be watchful this time of year, luckily our local stations swarm the storms with chasers, helicopters and specially modified tornado cars so you know exactly where the storms are.

At least these guys weren't going all hysterical like the guy talking on the radio to Gary England.

Also liked at the end where camera guy walks right up to the barbed wire fence... and downed power lines.

"This is the unedited version and is not for broadcast. Edit before airing. The edited footage can be seen on CNN."

Not that difficult.

"Mommy, why is that cloud having sex with the ground?"

During this guys filming, I didn't quite see it touch the ground (like when it crossed the road). Still a huge monster. I wonder if this sighting was before or after it did it's damage?

This reinforces my desire to not move anywhere near tornado alley.  In Virginia, last year, we had the "super derecho."  I don't rattle easily, but I was climbing the walls with that thing.  A tornado would make me cry and drive away as quickly as I can.

Experienced the force of it here in WV... power out for 10 days in 90°+ heat (damned glad I had got a floor model generator on sale for $189 that spring - when power was finally back on at gas stations, a woman had the identical model and was bragging she finally got it for "only" $999).  Wind was incredible... then got hit by another high wind storm the next day.

By the time I heard "This is money video!", I was officially rooting for the tornado.

I could have done without the glee about the tornado going towards the cows.
