Lobster last seen scurrying away from obese middle aged women sleeping outside movie theaters waiting for release of next POTC movie tickets.

I wonder if they've named a species of langouste lobster after Fred Schneider.

I haven't had much use for Johnny Depp since I watched him do a bad Michael Jackson impersonation through Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Epic fail.

I never met a lobster that I didn't like.

I think things started getting shaky with Johnny with Alice in Wonderland, then it became even more obvious with Dark Shadows. Everything with Depp these days seems like Jack Sparrow in various costumes and make up. I'm glad he's doing Pirates of the Caribean 5, but lets hope it ties things up and ends it before Johnny comes down with a bad case of Bruce Willisitis.
Then again, take the money if they hand you the checks, can't knock any of them for that.

I've said it elsewhere, but I don't think it's coincidental that the quality of the POTC movies started sliding as the movies focused more and more upon Jack.

Zeppelininthesky: Rock Lobsta!!!

I'm listening to the song and I'm hearing him enunciate the R in lobster.

Thanks for the earworm, BTW.  I'll have to listen to Gangnam Style to get it out of my head.

To be fair, that was probably more Tim Burton's fault than Depp's.  Depp's not bad in other roles where he's given more control over his character, look how he took over the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

His passivity served him well in Dead Man, which was in the top three of my Westerns with The Searchers and Unforgiven.

/Iggy Pop in a pinafore: Genius.

I caught Dark Shadows on cable a few weeks back.. I missed the start, but I thought it wasn't bad.  Granted, I never saw the original show.

A 505-million-year-old fossil

A pair of ragged claws scuttling across the floors of ancient seas?

I would have gone with Eliot but Depp is a nice pick too.
