Sinus infection? I know something that'll clear that right up, Josh. It's applied topically...

I'm starting to see why he was so quick to dive into heavy drug use when he was younger. I think for Josh, a combination of a hangnail and finding out the gallon of milk in his fridge is past the sell by date would become too adverse of a situation to handle on his own.

Its amusing that the Cards and the Rangers have the best records in baseball..without those players

Go Cards!

In other news, a friend of mine in my fantasy baseball league keeps trying to trade me Josh Hamilton and Ryan Zimmerman for some of my better pitchers: Scherzer, Samardzija, and Gallardo. Granted, I'm a bit weak at 3B and Gallardo has been a black hole of suck so far this season, but he badgers me to the point where I'm actively avoiding him and have to tell him to fark off in so many words.

/Samardzija has been underachieving too, but still has solid upside

And to think I had to spend energy in talking Mariners fans off the ledge when Anaheim swooped in and signed him. The M's record would be no better off and by now the local media would have had to listen to him blame the heavy marine air, marijuana legislation, Capitol Hill nightlife, and whatever else he could pull out of his ass as either an excuse or a point of contention and moral disagreement had he came here instead.

Well, regardless, even if he was hitting it's the Angels pitching that's failing hardest.  Angels are in the middle of the MLB in team OPS and AVG, bottom third in OBP..  They're third from last in ERA and WHIP, and bottom third in a whole lot more.  The pitching is god awful, and that's saying something considering Angel Stadium is a pitchers park

This is very true. I don't stalk him, but I do like to pop by occasionally to remind myself that we're a-ok without him. It's still a little psycho, but it'll wear off. I'm not angry any more. Just nosy. Same with CJ.

I'm still real happy about the Angels' record, but that's a matter of division dominance.

The vast majority of Rangers fans didn't care one bit to see him go. In fact, many were highly annoyed they made any attempt, however legit, to re-sign him. Most didn't care that he was leaving until he talked trash about them. So once again, Hamilton brought the negative karma onto himself

That when you sort by percentage of tickets sold, Texas also trails San Francisco and Detroit? Thanks for pointing that out.

I was never really angry, more annoyed with his big fans who defended him while he acted like a douchecanoe and all of the undue attention he got from the media and fans alike, plenty of the credit could have been spread around. He's a good player, when he's "on", but he's a drama queen. If the Angels want a headcase, more power to them, IMHO. I'd rather watch guys like Andrus play, the ones who seem to just go out and have a great time playing a game they love, knowing that they've got one of the best farkin' jobs in the world.

I was annoyed, bordering on angry, when he made his remarks. When asked about his time in Texas, all he had to say is that it was good & he appreciated the fans who stood by him while he made a comeback. Instead, he had to be an asshole about it. And people STILL kissed his ass.

But you know, having the best record in the league goes a long way towards getting over shiat. I mean a real long way.
