They could change the rules of horse racing to draw in the NASCAR crowd.

Start running the HOT (Horse of Tomorrow), a cloned horse given to each jockey that is exactly identical to every other horse.

Use restricter mizzles over the horses nostrils to limit their ability to breath and keep te speed down.

John Buck 41: InfrasonicTom: my lip balm addiction: So you farking Bronies got a thread today but there is no NASCAR thread? fark you FArk - fark you very much.

46 posts (47 with mine) for horse racing.  100,000+ at Hi Ho Pim-li-cooooo.

guess you had to be there.

To each his own. I wouldn't watch an NHL game unless someone told me the score was tied in the final minute of game 7 of a Stanley Cup Final, but these 3 races in spring (a close 2nd to my favorite time of the year behind summer) get my horsepower wound up.

Hey, keep rockin whatever makes your world go round my man.

I'm fossilized enough to remember the local new casts news having the daily race results in the sports segment.  It's something to see how the sport itself has essentially faded to nearly nothing, yet the event by itself is still so big.  Now there's pretty much no local sports segment on the news.
