If someone is out and about and sees terrorist related activity, it is usually quicker to dial a phone number than load a website.  They could expedite this by making it a three digit number; I know it's possible because of the 411 service.  Now, what could that three digit number be....

Will we be using these dubious tips to take out the suspects with drones as we do in Afghanistan?    It would be interesting to see how perspectives on the way we wage war change after a few Christian weddings got blown to pieces.

Oh, heavens no. NYPD is a model of restraint, and has never once tried to act like an amateur CIA/KGB (but with less rules).

It was officials in Florida who almost charged that 16 year old honor student with felony charges, and though they won't be she still has a criminal record because they arrested her plus she was expelled from her school. All over an experiment that hurt no one and damaged no property, and even her principal said she probably didn't mean do cause harm by that explosion. So fark off Florida, for trying to turn everything into a terrorist event.

Step 1.  Set up a program that encourages everyone to inform on everyone else
Step 2. Call it the opposite of what it is

I wonder what all of the patriot moderates will think when the insurance companies push hard to have black boxes installed in every vehicle.  I wonder if the mantra, "If you're not doing anything wrong, what do you have to worry about" will be altered.

FTFA:  Those making reports must provide their name and contact information.
"This is not like Crime Stoppers, where people report crimes," Jacksonville Sheriff John Rutherford said, referencing a reward-based system for solving crimes that allows anonymity.
For iWATCH, people are less likely to be targeted by rumors or malicious accusations. Also, it gives investigators the opportunity to further interview the person reporting the activity.

Yes, that sounds totally like the KGB disappearing people based on anonymous tips without any sort of due process or probable cause.

Well, 811 is the "do not dig" number. I do not dig terrorists, so maybe we can use that one.

Dear Joint-County Anti-Terrorism Center of Florida,
I heard you say that hobby shops need extra scrutiny, so I kept my eyes open while buying rubber bumpers for my RC car at Hobby Lobby today.  While I was there I noticed some guy came through and bought balsa wood, an HO scale caboose and 10 sheets of reflective mylar.  I wasn't concerned, but then he nonchalantly picked up 2 bottles of superglue as he walked to the register as if it were just some kind of afterthought.  It's obvious that obtaining the glue was his secret plan the whole time.  Does this help?

I wonder how many tip line calls are like, "There's some guy I'm watching and he's eating an ice cream cone, but he's not eating it like an American eats an ice cream cone, and he seems unusually alert to his surroundings. I think you should check him out."

The first time the local cops get bored.

How long do you think it will take before someone who's guilty of nothing more than pissing off their neighbor gets shot during a de facto home invasion? Never can be too careful when you're dealing with dangerous tair'ists, you know.

It'll be more like "you don't have to deal with that insurance company if they want a black box in your vehicle."  "Free market" über alles and all that.  Never mind that all the others also want that black box in your vehicle.

I think the entire question is pointless.  To date in modern history, there has never been an actual technical communist regime.  They are all authoritarian dictatorships where the autocrat sells the concept of communism as an ideal to a poor country, but never follows through on their promises.  Appeal to emotion to get in power and then use the people as your own toilet paper  So as interesting as it is, I don't think we have seen a single actual communist nation in the world.  So from a scientific angle, there are no data points... They have all been ruses, and WW2 was so close to home for the US that now anything that even implies communism is treated as a sacred taboo.  You must say the pledge of allegiance 20x to repent for thy sins....
