Nope not a violation of the Prime Directive. Dude's English. It is like a Cardassian opposing thr occupation of Bajor. Or something like that.

/it's no fun if you don't take these concepts seriously

I thought it was more like Jim M. from Sherlock, at least just a bit. I had to put it that way because I can not spell well at all.

I don't see Scotland being a viable country. They got some significant resources, North Sea Oil, good tourism resources, golfing, whiskey, etc., but they also have some crushing social services loads.  Lotta people on welfare, lotta medical expenses, etc. Too many fried Mars Bars and drug/alcohol issues really drag down their national productivity. It's one of the unhealthiest countries in the developed world...

No, It's fried Oreos down there. The rest of your rant sounds like New York or California.
Scotland gets to vote on English Law in Parliament, yet the folk of England have no say in Scottish Parliamentary Law.  Maybe they should just chill and be happy.

With a few notable exceptions: Planet of the Dead, Christmas Carol and...something else ,I think. Can't remember offhand. Maybe it's just the two.

Benedict Cumberbatch: John Harrison

The Sherlock star piled on the pounds to create the muscular super-baddie in Star Trek Into Darkness.

Benedict, 36, said: "It meant a lot of eating in a short space of time and a lot of working out but, fortunately, I had a fantastic trainer.

"Bulking up was integral to the character - he needed to have a strong, physical shape and presence. I loved all that."

Cumberbatch was bulked up for this role? Really? What, is he normally like a toothpick?

Have you seen Sherlock?  He slims down a lot for the role (yoga and swimming, he says) to get a lean look.  I think he went straight from that to doing ST:ID, which is a bit of a transition.

Its a Scottish red top, they will desperately grab onto any off the cuff remark that was just to play up to the audience and blow it out of all proportion.

Either England is under a Labour government it didn't vote for or Scotland is under a Tory government it didn't vote for. That's democracy for you.

/Salmond is shiatting himself. Either he gets what he doesn't want or he gets told STFU by the electorate.
//Plus all those farking hypocrite tax exiles now want a vote as well. If you want a vote Connery pay some farking taxes to support your fellow Scots
