Wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to just get a wheelchair or a pair of crutches yourself? I don't think Disney will check...

Teabaggers aren't that smart. Plus, they are all morbidly obese and in mobility scooters, so Disney likely wouldn't allow them on the rides anyway.

I'd do it for free.  I'd get a belt and whip their legs if they said they're paralyzed from the waist down.  If they said they were retarded, I'd make them eat worms and drink my pee.  And if they said they were quad pelegics I'd... wait, all that abuse might attract sickos that liked to be abused... nevermind

Oooooo... articles about 'the IRS is mean and bad to everybody.  They don't just target certain groups'.

ok,  we should expect more articles.  In order to accomplish the 'We the Farkmins carry water for the Administration' trifecta !

Personally, I think the next green lit article should be something related to the IRS's role in Obamacare.
What could possibly go wrong ?

What's stopping people from renting a wheelchair and taking turns in it all day? I've definitely witnessed a group do that exact thing at both Disney and kings island.

I'd feel like a Dick, no way I could do it. It is a great way to avoid long lines though.

I'm not sure what's worse - that some folks view Disney as "heaven", or that others exploit that view to make money.

One of my friends growing up was albino. When we would go to amusement parks together, we were always allowed to cut the line because she couldn't stand out in the sun for too long. It was great. She finally got self-conscious about it at around 15 and she refused to do it anymore. Good times, though.

The ultra rich gets access to the secret rides under the park.  The just only rich have to pay handicap people with making their handicap faces to mingle with the peons.

Most parks do. Universal Studios let you buy passes that let you go in a special entrance that bypasses the peon line.

Okay, you have more faith in the general public then I do. These are three characteristics that your average Disney park visitor doesn't possess.

Cool Wedding Story Bro:

Maid of Honor is the bride's younger sister, gives the speech for the bride.  They are both uber Catholic.  She tells the story about how they were so excited to go see Pope John Paul II in person when they were younger, that they stole wheelchairs and raced around on them so they could get a front row view of their hero the Pope.  "Hey sis, remember that time?  It was SO funny!"  Yeah, no one at the reception laughed, most of us facepalmed.  Good times.

So don't ever pretend to be disabled to get to the front of the line, or that story will come up again at the most inopportune time, Fark threads, etc.

If you are crazy enough to mistreat the handicapped in this way I feel the gov should look into exposing these people and charging them all with abuse

Budging into line is bad enough but exploiting the handicapped to do so is pretty messed up.

Very rich people can and do, especially celebs.

During my last visit to Disney, we saw people renting the wheelchairs for family members.  Wheelchair accompanying families get to go to the front of every line.  We noticed throughout the day when we'd see some of the families we recognized, that different family members would be riding in the chair - they were taking turns being the disabled.

We were plenty pissed.  You stand in line for over an hour and some cheating asshat rolls up and gets to go to the front of the line because they were crappy enough to rent a chair.

I'm all for those that are in real need getting the special attention.  Not the cheaters.

I agree somewhat but I would require all subsidies to all businesses, federal contractors included to be completely revoked

I took the family tho Disney World a couple months ago, and we saw what looked like concierges in Disney uniforms accompanying a few (I think we saw three of them) families.  It looked like they had perma-FastPasses and would even watch over the smaller children when the parents and older kids wanted to go on a ride.

I think I did a cursory internet search to find out more, but didn't come up with anything.  Must be on the 1%er internet:)

just have to rebrand it as charity work,

You a saintly rich person, help a disabled Florida resident whose own family is too poor or busy to enjoy  a day at Disney land, take this unfortunate child for a day out.

Blah blah blah, same result. less blow back.
