Odoriferous Queef: The chances of a Farker getting to witness a meltdown has just gone up!

My wife works a couple miles from this place and loves Pita Jungle which is right next door to this place. She went there for lunch yesterday and said that the place was all locked up but that people were still gawking.

I want to go down there on Monday and just sit in the parking lot and watch the fireworks. But I'm guessing a lot of other people will have the same idea. Maybe we'll just go to Pita Jungle and have a meal that actually tastes good. Probably have to sit on the patio to watch them tho.

xaks: freetomato: FlyingBacon: FlashHarry: radarlove: Oh, I'm sure they'll be on their best behavior.  But somehow I doubt their best behavior will be good enough, or that they will keep up the facade for long.

God I hope there are cameras there.

they were on their best behavior for gordon ramsay! they thought he was going to set the record straight and tell everyone that her food was amazing!

After watching Kitchen Nightmare for a long time and I will say this, Gordon Ramsay will always say your food taste like craps. PERIOD! Not sure why people dont get it in their farked up head.

He said the dessert was good. Of course, the real pastry chef remains unknown.

This is the part that still makes me wonder. All the /b/ and facebook and twitter and folks that have looked over this trainwreck, and not one has figured out who makes the pastries that Gordon actually said were good? That's possibly the most important part of this whole thing! How has noone tracked this down yet?

Last I heard that was discovered,  there is a local French pastry shop not far from them.  Don't remember the name though.  She has admitted the cakes were bought and resells them.  She also said she lied as since Ramsey was English he wouldn't understand capitalism.

Better get there early. I but Pita Jungle's patio is going to be packed with gawkers  people enjoying a good meal. Maybe you could do an exit poll on the ABC customers.

This is going to work out  for them better than a sex tape ever could.

When hey reopen, they will be extra nice (and have cameras rolling to prove it), servers will keep their tips, which will be plenty b/c the place will be packed and customers will see if the owners do keep them (new policy:  servers keep them).  All returned food will be replaced and / or comped, etc....

And like it's been said, A&E, TLC, Bravo and others are probably already lined up to give them a reality show.

I highly doubt they will be playing nice, the woman is nuts, a psychiatrist watching that performance would likely be putting checks in multiple disorder checkboxes.  According to them they are not doing anything wrong, everyone who has a problem are morons and haters.  Trying to get them to do anything other than what they want to do would be hearding cats.... Meow meow meow meow meow.

I predict that, like Gordon F*cking Ramsey, their PR firm walks off in a fit of disgusted frustration within hours of the grand reopening.

Well, someone could always blame this on their politician of choice and turn it into a political thread.  That should juice it up a bit.

I am confident that there will be ongoing follow ups. We have definitely not juiced all the lulz out of this situation yet.

Thanks for this.

Their up-coming press conference should be interesting. I just watched KN for the second time. Just as funny as the first. I get some kind of a perverse pleasure watching people melt down like that.

/I'm broken that way.

Maybe this can help:   Dept. of Labor: Amy's Baking Company may be in violation of law.

Just sent an email to see if anyone is following up on the reservations requests.

Used my actual phone number which may be a bad idea but it's not against the law to not show up for a reservation, right?

/used a fake name, though

This could be epic. As an added safety precaution, security guards and off-duty police officers will be present to handle any "unruly guests."

I wonder if by security guards they mean "Las Vegas gangsters" and unruly guests they mean anyone with taste buds. Heavy use of air quotes required.

It might be a while, but I'm sure things will really come to a head when the police figure out they filed a false report about being "hacked."

Sooner or later, one way or another, these crazy farks will go down.

davidphogan: You realize they're a chain, right?

Uh, they are? They definitely didn't look like a chain in the episode.

They hired a PR firm and started back peddling like a mofo, but they still can't help but play the victim.  They are just SO oppressed!

There's some confusion here.  The "chain" comment from davidphogan was in reference to Dick's Last Resort, which is a chain of restaurants where patrons are deliberately treated poorly, and furthermore davidphogan's comment which you quoted was due to a misinterpretation of the obtusely constructed sentence of Corvus, which was already acknowledging that DLR as a chain.

Thank you, this is all quite confusing.

I believe the chances of them being hacked are near zero. Just as soon Facebook delivers the server logs to the cops they'll have another issue to deal with. I do hope the cops press charges for filing a false report.

I seriously doubt they went to the police.  They just can say that so some people will go 'seems plausible'.  The same way when the torch the restaurant they will go it was some hater on the internet.

Have you stopped to consider the possibility that they're actually made in house?

1) She admitted that they're not. Ressling.

2) She doesn't have the kitchen equipment to be able to make them.

3) She can't even bake a farking pizza.

4) She can only handle making pizzas one at a time. Even one at a time they're not cooked correctly. That is an incredible amount of complex baked goods. There is no way on earth, even if she never, ever slept, that she could be producing that.

She can't even make a hamburger. When Gordon bit into the burger she made and all of that oily, water or whatever ran out of it, I wanted to throw up just watching it. I don't know how he didn't.

Some Phoenix news agency said that they checked and a report was filed with the local department. The FBI did not respond to the inquiry.
