Corvus: Tsar_Bomba1: If I wanted that kind of abuse I would go to the Weiner's Circle...

Hey they have a chain that on purposes gives bad service.

If you want rude and bad service but you are too mainstream to go to someplace that isn't a chain. People are stupid.

I took my mom to Dick's Last Resort -- and purposely didn't inform her about their schtick. After an initial gasp at the server's hilariously rude comment, Mom said "I wish I'd know about this place when I was 15 and waiting tables. I would have worked here in a heartbeat!"

Radak: RoboZombie: I have only seen a handful of these shows and typically, the kitchens lok like toxic waste dumps. THIS place actually looked clean and organized, but everything else was a horror show

It was extremely clean (and the waitress who did the Reddit AMA said it was always that clean, not just for the show).  Gordon was very impressed with how clean the whole place was, including the walk-in, where everything was sorted and labeled properly.  However, this (and good storebought desserts) turned out be the only good things they had going for them.

If this is due to Amy having severe OCD, I wouldn't be surprised.

bingo the psych-o: Corvus: People are stupid. You make a place known for sucking and you get a line around the block.

I hate stupid people.

Sometimes you have to see the train wreck for yourself.   Morbid fascination can be hard to overcome.

Or you just go on with your life and eat at places actually good.

sandi_fish: The funny part is that they only had Gordon Ramsey there to stroke their egos, once he didn't now he's the asshole.  Now they are impugning him on their Facebook page.

Take from their page: Customers will be able to decide who is correct: a famous celebrity chef or the marketplace that has supported the small, locally-owned business for six years.

Morans.

What's really funny is that they thought that Gordon Ramsey would stroke their egos.  That's like expecting mild weather in Scottsdale in July.

My CSB was one visit I made about a decade ago to the DDLR in San Diego during Comic-Con 01. Lots of people from all over the world in the joint, including two somewhat well-dressed 40-something asian guys.

Along comes the waiter with two straws stuck into his upper lip, walks up behind them with squinty eyes and grabs them both in a bear hug and starts yelling "WASABEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" most of the room turned their heads away in a "I really don't want to be witnessing this" feel, while some were openly pissed enough to almost consider getting up from their tables to bust the waiter's face open.

There's DDLR non-PC, and then there's KKK cross-burning non-PC.

For the rest of the night, the waiter was going around to each table and profusely apologizing to every diner, probably because the boss made him do that before he fired the bigot after his shift was done that night.

TV's Vinnie: I have to admit that I'm enjoying every last drop of watching Princess PMS getting PWNED on a global scale.

The only thing that worries me is that Hollywood, in their utter seething contempt at all Americans,  might give these two a reality show so they can act snotty at humanity for years.

Case in Point: "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Child". I would like to know who on this planet outside of a network executive's own ass wanted this show to be made!

Counterpoint: Sarah Palin's Alaska. A reality show starring the then-second-most-popular politician in America.

Originally scheduled for 12 episodes, cancelled after just 7. Episode one got millions of viewers, most of whom were rubberneckers who would not go on to watch episode two.

I imagine that if Princess Pizza gets a reality show, it wouldn't last long enough to get cancelled after episode 7.

Hmm... we've got one here in Nashville.  May have to check it out.

Any of you Tulsa Farkers remember Molly Murphy's House of Fine Repute ?

This Oklahoma City farmer does

Molly Murphy's lived fast and died young. No surprise the owners were as nutty as the staff. I loved that place

A Terrible Human: I mean if you can't even bake a pizza properly then you shouldn't be cooking in a restaurant.

And really, how hard is it to not fark up a pizza? Yet they couldn't even cook his all the way through. Then told him he was nuts and the pizza was done perfectly. As he's poking his finger into the raw dough.

That loony toon can't even bake one pizza at a time.  Seriously: she cooks orders one at a time, as they come in, in the order they come in.

Let that sink in for a second, and then see if it jives with any kitchen experience you might have.

The commercial kitchens I've been in were a barely-controlled chaos during rush. This wacko lady could get into the weeds if a couple four-tops happened to come in at the same time.  I mean, she has three goddam pizza ovens, and can't make more than one at a time?!

2013-05-16 07:40:36 PM
I live about 10 blocks from that place. Within walking distance of Amy's there are about a dozen fantastic places to get good food. If you want good pizza I'd suggest Rosati's or Oregano's, both are just across the street. Those two idiots must have money, it is the only way I can see why they're still in business.

2013-05-16 07:43:37 PM
I'm so proud that these two assholes are from here. It's the talk of the town and the internet is loving it.

Odoriferous Queef: Nordschleife: I really hope that for everyone's sake their restaurant is currently filled with internet trolls, and that they skip on the bill, leaving the owners with no real patrons and heaping helpings of schadenfreude to slurp down.

My guess is the P.R. firm has hand picked the customers.

Won't be good enough. Amy will get slighted for some reason, setting off Samy, getting verbal and physical with the PR firm and the shills, and the lucky ones will be able to leave under their own accord.

Just watched the full episode on YouTube.

I predict three dead cats, two suicides, and a host of others gunned down during/after their re-launch.

The husband saying, "I'm the gangster, not you!" to Ramsey leads me to believe there will be lots of blood spilled. Ramsey had better watch his ass, or he might be one of the victims.

That biatch and her sugar daddy make the Soup Nazi seem like a pleasant guy. I bet the reservations are to see (in-person) the meltdown that will commence. You couldn't pay me to go in there with what is likely to happen during that meltdown; not even if everyone was openly carrying a firearm.

Most likely on 'opening night' it will all be very good friends or 'paid' customers to give an excellence review. Someone should watch the back door and find out what restaurant is providing the food cause she can't cook worth shait.

This is fair warning.  After two years of living in Arizona, some people behave like Amy Bouzaglo (Scottsdale) and Jodi Arias (Mesa).  Or that crazy vampire girl who tried to kill the guy in Tempe.

Some say it is because Indian brujos lived there a thousand years ago and imbued the rocks with batshiat crazy.  That's probably it.
