Rand Paul is an opportunist who trades on his father's name and a gullible political segment who so desperately want to be "different" that they'll take anyone who slaps on their label as a champion.

Unfortunately, those are not mutually exclusive concepts.

Rand Paul is a f*cking idiot

/that is all

Yeah!

Why, that Obama holds the country hostage over things like the Debt Ceiling just so he can get his way! He keeps holding votes to strike down Health Care legislation, even though it's obvious that will never happen! And he falsifies e-mails to try to whip up scandals!

HE NEEDS TO BE IMPEACHED!

"Drunk on power"?

Is that anything like the hubris-inflated balls it takes to go to Howard U - an HBC in the middle of Chocolate City - thinking you're going to school some inner-city minorities on the REAL history of the GOP, only to get taken behind the woodshed by that very same group?

Or the kind of self-aggrandizing peacockery it takes to filibuster for the cameras in an attempt to "force" an answer out of someone who already answered?

// it's not being "drunk" on power when you've been elected to a position of power
// "look at Obama, walking around the Executive Branch like he runs the place..."

Power then beer, never fear.

Power then liquor, OBAMASOCIALISM

Which he then turned around and supported.

"I've never argued against any technology being used when you have an imminent threat, an active crime going on," Paul said. "If someone comes out of a liquor store with a weapon and fifty dollars in cash. I don't care if a drone kills him or a policeman kills him."

He's an attention whore, nothing more, if you're keeping score, like my lost Lenore.

It has come to my attention that you have now asked an additional question: "Does the President have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on American soil?" The answer to that question is no.

2013-05-16 04:08:41 PM
And what, exactly, has the President used all of this power to accomplish?

Google "Obama's Accomplishments" and then tell me where he overstepped.

Most of his 'accomplishments' were years ago now, and were campaign promises (in other words: reasons people voted for him. 'People' meaning 'American voters').

Now he can't even get a judge or an agency head appointed, even though the Democrats let Bush appoint a bunch of winners. The Democrats all said 'well, he's the President. Just cause we don't like these people much doesn't mean we can stand in his way.' (Not counting Harriet Miers, but should we count her?)

What the fresh hell has Obama done to make these jerks so upset?

/maybe he's just too blah?

What's scary is lots of people I see buying into his BS!!

Rand Paul "Obama answer my question about drones!!!!"

Stupid Rand Paul followers: OMG He is so brave fighting for our liberties!!!

Reality: Obama had already answered his questions about drones saying he would only use them in the most extreme circumstances like if someone was immanent use force killing others like a bomb etc,.

Even sadder reality: Rand Paul said he would use them in more situations than Obama said against US citizens.

But this Rand Paul fans have no farking idea about those things.

Rand Paul is not a libertarian, he's a corporate anarchist.  There isn't a corporation he won't give a rimjob to.

The the past if you said too many batshiat crazy things you'd end up ignored eventually.  What happened?  I have to read comments by Rand Paul, Michelle Bachmann, and 20 other batshiat crazy people every day I read fark.  Why can't U.S. society get to the point where people are branded and idiot and ignored?

More than anything else in the world, I wish President Obama would get up and say this, verbatim, at his next press conference...

Lost Thought 00: Whereas yesterday he was feeble and didn't have a firm grasp on anything going on in his administration

Asking these people to have a coherent philosophy is too much for their limited world view.

You know what the philosophy is: Obama bad, Bush good.  That's as far as it goes.

That's why I can't take any of these "scandals" seriously.  They were all S.O.P. during Bush's term of office.  If true I don't agree with, but as far as I am concerned the people complaining have no standing when all they did during the Bush admin was play "See no evil."
