OlderGuy: Greetings all... TGIC !!.. or.... Yay ! Caturday at last.... Fred is home.. had a UTI... and told me about it.. all fixed up now, on a new food regiment.. picked him up from the vet yesterday evening.. they brought him out in the carrier and all you could see was his butt.. put the carrier in the car, said his name and he turned around and the motor started... first action after being released at home from the carrier was to flop on his back for a belly rub.... after which he demonstrated that he could now pee.... hopefully the new food will prevent a reoccurance....

in2it: Hi everyone, it's not a happy Caturday here, one of my cats has decided to run away from my home.Even though my wife was home everyday, I guess this will happen if the main care taker (ME) is working away from home for a couple of days. Hopefully he'll get hungry and wander back home.[i.imgur.com image 850x1275]We miss you boy!
Agarista: This is my breakfast cat.She comes in mornings, stays for some love, then gets thrown out when I go to work.I think she lives a street or two over, so I don't knwo her "real" name.I call her "Kahvalti" which means "breakfast"

syzygy whizz: tigerose: Spiralmonkey: tigerose: *Rolls out very large wheel of Smoked Gouda* to go with my Whine! Oh my gosh my knee hurts. Aleve hasn't helped. I took 2 at noon. And yeah, I rode today..but we just walked! Wine is not helping either...this started week or so ago. Sort of woke up with Spock/Horta "The pain".. And this is my good knee! WTF? I hurt it 2 yrs ago. Why is it suddenly throwing a tantrum? I do.not.have time for this! My son graduates in 14 days? Ahhhhh!Have you tried an Epsom salts bath? I know, onion belt and all that, but it works. Same for magnesium tablets. You can also get a magnesium oil spray. It really helps me with muscle pain.If that doesn't work take 2 fingers of Bunnahabhain and call me in the morning.have not tried it, but it is a good suggestion. I need to clean the tiband its groddy mat first! So, not tonight...maybe in teh mornin..had to lookup the pain reliever..:)Thinking you meant 'tub and its grody mat', right?Make your life easier. Toss the mat into the washer with a towel and use some vinegar in the rinse. It will clean and de-grodify the mat. Saw this in 'Hints from Heloise' years ago...and I do this for the tub mats at my group home.Only way I can think of to clean the tub easier is to get someone else to do it... ;-)
Cloudchaser Sakonige the Red Wolf: My eldest, Seis, born 2002 and my youngest, Emperor Ming, born summer of 2010 on a fine spring day a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the Emperor has not been seen for a week now. Having wandered away is unlikely given his past behavior. Very afraid of strangers, so someone having thought he was a friendly stray isn't possible. So is having been run over given our location. Here's a video of him and his two years elder brother Marmalade having a standofish playfight in May 2012[i273.photobucket.com image 850x637]
jamspoon: [i103.photobucket.com image 533x800]Cats in hats? I can even keep a collar on this one. She go out and comes back without it within hours. Every time.
dopekitty74: Vet just called. Boots is doing much better today! He ate last night and is much perkier today. Vet says his kidney levels are improved too. As long as he can pee on his own by tomorrow morning, he'll be able to come home tomorrow.

Cute little guy, regardless of how he was created. :)http://cosmiclog.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/05/17/18323610-virgin-birth- or -hanky-panky-anteater-mom-sparks-a-scientific-debate?lite&My bet is that one of the zookeepers has some anteater in his family tree.My uncle Allen used to be an aunt eater.Where do cousins come from?

What language is it from?In college there was a neighborhood cat who used to come visit our (coed) fraternity house for pets and scritches. We never found out her name but we weren't as creative as you so just called her Miss Kitty.

I have never understood the whole "black cat bad luck" thing. Because I have had nothing but good luck with all my former "blackies"...Sending hugs and scritches, apply where needed!I've always preferred black cats. Maybe its because of the whole superstition thing about them. Pigment discrimination. I love my cuddly fuzzy friends :)
lethological_lassie: Sending good thoughts to Boots and dopekitty74. Boots was having surgery and was going to be in hospital til at least Saturday. tigerose: We have a pretty steady breeze going tonight. Very tempted to hop on my broom and go visit Salem Witch. I have a hankerin to give Susie a biiig smooch! And I thought I might share some of my sauteed chicken with onion and garlic, swimming in an alfredo sauce, with morel mushrooms. (re-hydrated from dry). Served with whole wheat/ramp fettuccini. Ramps are like a wild onion/garlic bulb.. And not like the ones that grow in my garden..grr...No idea if they are edible, but I might try..I have enough of them!!!Hmm..who else could I visit/pester...
