pute kisses like a man: Noticeably F.A.T.: special20: Were they torturing the guy or something? First rule of being a criminal is always keep your pie-hole shut, am I right? Self incriminating criminals are giving crime a bad name.

They aren't smart, and they tend to be kinda cowardly. If they were either they wouldn't be breaking into other people's houses while they were gone.

criminals, in general, are exceptionally stupid.  it's a primary reason someone turns to crime, the lack of the ability to foresee consequences.

Not too many Mensa Chapters in the pen. One or two members, sure, but not enough to have a meeting to discuss quantum entanglement and escaping into the multiverse when surrounded.

So if you get caught stealing a firearm, you're charged with armed robbery?

Uncivil Engineer: Forget the coins....

Drafting equipment?  That is like stealing buggy whips in terms of it's usefulness.

That depends on who is using the drafting equipment. I have been using the same triangles for 32 years. They are still just as square as the day I got them.

Thieves will steal anything that isn't nailed down and even then they will steal the nails.

MichiganFTL: Who would steal 30 bag lunches?

He would have stolen 40, but that would be terrible.

Actually I live in Vero Beach, and the coins stolen could be quite valuable. This area is renown for the Spanish shipwrecks that were and still are being salvaged for ancient treasure coins worth anywhere from $150-$25,000.

Careful what you label as "junk" because that "junk" might be worth more than your car.

/works with 1715 and 1622 Spanish reales all day
//seen and held coins worth more than your house
