Issa truly IS a top-level shiatstain of a man. Not that Holder has been great at his job, but that doesn't make Issa any better by comparison. He's still a complete hack.

A common car thief thinking he has the swagger to talk down to our top legal officials is sooooo GOP.

Issa has essentially been calling people liars left and right, and gets all upset when  they prove him wrong.

Hey, he's not just a common car thief -- he's also been "under fire" for insurance fraud*! That's a big-boy crime.

I dunno, if somebody with as little credibility and moral character as Holder started trying to insult me, I'd take it as a sure sign I'm doing things right.

The definition of true, ultimate karma is Darrell Issa being trapped in a stolen, burning car that uses one of his old Viper alarms. And as the flames get hotter and hotter, the car alarm activates and starts to repeat "Please die in this car fire" in his voice..... over and over and over again.

Issa seeks truth.
Holder wants to hide the truth.
Its a microcosm of American politics today.

Eric Holder is the one who is behaving shamefully and unacceptably. He knows it and is projecting it. It's obvious....

Which shameful actions would these be? Investigating leaks of classified information? Recusing himself from investigations when appropriate? Or did you have something else in mind?

This.  In a court of actual law, Issa's comment would have met immediate objection for leading the witness or some such.  "I don't know why..." from Holder gets an immediate "because you're hiding something, IMPEACH OBAMA" from Issa?  That's not how logic typically works.

There is not a single document submitted by Holder that shows his recusal. Not. A. Single. Document. The man is out of control. The IRS is out of control. The State Department is out of control. The Administration is showing incompetence and lack of diligent governance. Arugula is too expensive. Asparagus is being disparaged. I'm losing weight, so there's that.....

I think Holder should have had an iPad with Joseph Welch's testimony from the Army-McCarthy hearings on it, and found appropriate clips to play and then lip synced along to them.  It would have provided some much-needed brevity.

Well, the only difference is that the target isn't some twentysomething military kid, it's the Attorney General of the United States. Antagonism from political opponents sort of comes with that territory.

It's every bit as "played for the cameras" as McCarthy's hearings were, though.

I disagree, but Holder was probably the wrong person for my fantasy.  It probably should have been Pickering, but they've been pissing on the corpses of the Ambassador and his staff for months.  It's sick and totally indecent.

The later 2 should have Holder disbarred for incompetence and the last one used to put him on trial for aiding and abetting AQ (we've drone striked people for less).  Issa has got a long way to go to match the sh** stain that is Holder

Can someone give me the quick rundown on what Eric Holder has done wrong?

2013-05-16 04:46:30 PM
I have no love for Eric Holder, but it's a testament to how seriously unjust Capitol Hill is nowadays that Darrell Issa, after blowing an FBI investigation into a Mexican drug cartel and putting informants' and investigators' health and safety at risk to "blow the lid off" Fast and Furious, and publicly revealing sensitive information about the Benghazi consolate and CIA activity in Libya putting informants' and agents' health and safety at risk --  as well as the very national security he purports to champion -- to "blow the lid off" Benghazi, isn't sitting in Bradley Manning's prison cell right now. The man is shameful, wantonly irresponsible, reckless, and a greater danger to everything he claims to champion than his mere lack of presence would otherwise be. That charlatan doesn't just deserve to be removed from office, he deserves to be sent to Guantanamo Bay  and we've sent people there for mere allegation of less, let alone hard proof.

shouldn't Holder be shoveling guns into mexico while helping illegals across the border?  why are we wasting his time?
