This is bribery to keep the state out of Indian gaming.  Not that I wouldn't appreciate it.

Go, go Pima and Tohono O'odham tribal-money-give-back attack! In all seriousness, I wish my f*&^ing tribe would do something right like this... Good on them for doing right by the kids, no matter what tribe they belong to.

traylor: natmar_76: gameshowhost: For you Europeans, that works out to 10.000.000,00.

It's like they're intentionally trying to be different.

Wikipedia lists 40 countries using the point, 64 countries using the comma for separating the decimals. Also, "10.000.000,00" does not make any sense in places where the point is not used to note the thousand separator.

Moreover, 7.4 million + 2.6 million does not necessarily equal 10,000,000.00 (most probably not). The last decimal digit is supposed to be rounded. When you say 7.4 million it can be anywhere between 7,350,000 and 7,449,999. OTOH when you write 10,000,000.00 it is expected to be between 9,999,999.995 and 10,000,000.004.

Why can't you just say ten million? Oh I see, you gotta be different.

Now let's discuss American Billion versus British Billion

Tribal Casino donates money to the county and school system. Increases over all earning potential for students further in life. That monies coming back.

Tribal Casino donates money for recreational complex, bringing in more traffic to the city/area.. Which is near the Casino. Money is coming back.

It's like they are giving it then want it back. What's that called again

Exactly. Money is just part of a cycle and they are forward-thinking with it. Now all the honkeys are getting in an uproar because they got smart with their money and break the stereotypes that have been held for so long.

Astorix: Does this recreation centre involve the word  casino?

No, but the Ak-Chin tribe does have a casino nearby (Harrah's operates it).
