Isn't 30 million just like 5 seconds for a super bowl commercial?  I imagine they would want more money than that?

Yeah, the cost for hosting a Super Bowl would be somewhere between $500m-$1b

I guess the four Super Bowl appearances and three Super Bowl wins never happened?

Since it'll be Super Bowl L using the Roman numerals, a decent logo will be kinda tough...here's a few we whipped up back in thread 6917458.

Sadly the NFL, in recent years, decided to use the same logo every year, just changing the roman numeral.

Yeah...pretty weak. But I guess it's all about branding, or maybe an attempt to minimize the confusing strings of numerals from the recent years. That design will look pretty top-heavy with just an L holding it up.

Five and three, FYI.

Given that I could park at my office and walk less than a mile to get there, I'm all for this.

If you think the Bucs logo is enough to make Raiders' fans mad, you don't know a damn thing about that Super Bowl.  Posting pictures of Bill Callahan, on the other hand, would incite rage.

Hey, Bucs fans...

The Raiders still have 3 Super Bowl wins and 1 AFL Championship to your 1 title

Call back when you earn a Championship instead of winning the lottery with your new coach being the guy your opponent let go the previous year

Da Rayduhs don't need this Broncos fan to defend them... So I won't. But I will say that they have earned every bit of hatred and respect I have for them.

Won't it be painful for niner fans to see the Seahawks win a Super Bowl in the Bay Area?

As a former Bay Area resident, the answer is no.

Seattle fans have this idea that they're the Niners biggest rival. Only in their own minds.
