Yea, but some guy who runs a multi-billion dollar company (which pays no taxes) only got $3.4 million in net compensation last year instead of $3.8 million while some guy who works for him got a tax cut even though he has a refrigerator and a microwave in his apartment.

So you see the issue we have.

Is sequester the new global warming? The liberals root cause of all that is bad?

So... what you're saying is... we need to cut taxes for job creators and repeal obamacare?  I dont know... might need to throw in some incentives for big oil to smooth the deal over.

Is there free food or beer?  Where do I sign up?

OJFC.  Do we really have to keep up this nonsense?  This is getting sillier and sillier.  I heard that Angelina Jolie's boobs could have been saved had the sequester not taken effect.

Only for the MBAs. Because it will be a business expense and they'll write it off so that the people serving it at minimum wage also have to pay for it.

Too late. If your mom's vagina wasn't lined with gold you can go right ahead and fark yourself because you clearly didn't try hard enough to be successful.

We'll have to make it so that nobody is Los Angeles has a parent/child or ex-wife/ex-husband (see: Twister) relationship problem. I swear those character plot conflicts are in every weather disaster movie.

Good. The government shouldn't be wasting money on this "science" witchcraft anyways. If God wills that a volcano erupt and kill some heathens, then it will be done. If He wants us to know about it in advance, He will let us know. He'll probably give Pat Robertson a jingle on the hotline or something.

It sure beats the conservative cause that liberals are the root of all that is bad.

Speaking of partisan scare-mongering, how's the search for WMD in Iraq going?

Exactly.  We should allocate this program at least $1.3 trillion per year.  No expense should be spared.  The scientists should all get $25,000 a year for hazard pay.  If you don't want to fund them for $1.3 trillion, you're just a stupid teabagger and we will send the IRS after you.

We can't waste that kind of money on science! We need more aircraft carriers to defend our great nation from some goat herders hiding in the mountains half a world away!

Eh, Kringlebert Shiftybuns, as a physics grad student, I'm just a bit.. frustrated and nervous about the assault on science funding/cuts. All my life "We need more people in america to become sciensitsts! We need more STEM majors!"

"Alright, well, I love physics anyways, LET'S DO THIS"

*On way to PhD*

Right wing: "HAHA ACTUALLY WE'RE GOING TO CUT FUNDING TO THE SCIENCES."

"WTF."

Right Wing: "Private industry will pick up the slack!"

"You have no farking idea how research works, do you?"

So I'm a teeetttccch frustrated at folks on that end of the spectrum.
