Pacers by 6, San Antonio by 3.

Indiana has been suffocating the Knicks while protecting the paint, and I don't see Melo getting hot from beyond the arc tonight. If the Knicks can drive the lane and get Hibbert in foul trouble early, they've got a chance.

I think the Warriors have the talent to pull off the win, but I think they're still just a little bit too green in this situation. But damn, they are learning and adjusting quickly. I don't know how exactly the Spurs will pull out a win, but I think they will. Maybe Parker, maybe Ginobli, or maybe they just disrupt Curry. I think they'll find a way.

/still love the Chalmers meme

Pacers will big tonight, blow it in NY, but win in 6.  So let it be written.  So let it be done.

My guesses: Pacers, Spurs. Now let's see if I'm right.

let someone break 90 points... please...

Trying to make it a more physical game when you're playing the Pacers... I don't think you thought your cunning plan all the way through.

If I was coaching the Knicks I'd be hoping to drive the lane and get Hibbert into foul trouble. They'll struggle if they're launching all night from behind the 3-point line.

After seeing just about all the other teams fall apart due to injuries or poor performance, I just don't see anyone left that can challenge Miami. I was a little excited when my Bulls got one game on them, but since that first game they've become the Washington Generals to the Heats Harlem Globetrotters. I don't even think it's that the Heat is all that good, I mean they are very good, but they aren't unbeatable, but no one this year has a strong or healthy enough lineup to do it.

2013-05-14 07:57:16 PM
The Knicks are really getting beaten on the boards. Jason Kidd cant make any shots whatsoever. Knicks are in trouble.

2013-05-14 07:57:21 PM
Again the lets shoot 3s until they start going in are putting the knicks in a nice hole.

2013-05-14 07:57:41 PM
Don't be too sure... Wade is gimpy too. And Memphis is built to give them trouble. There's lots of basketball left to play.

2013-05-14 07:59:45 PM
Boy, this game at Indiana is ugly. I think Pacers know the Knicks can't shoot anymore, so they are trying to tire them out by turning the ball over a bunch and having them shoot alot. It's like a retarded basketball rope-a-dope.

2013-05-14 08:06:28 PM
knicks apparently want to outsuck the bulls in the post conference im expecting the knicks to throw down the gauntlet.

they said that a pro team couldnt score less than the 71 we put up last game, and then the bulls go out and show us up with 65... whatevah playah we gots dis.

The only thing better than a Pacers win is a Knocks loss. Looking good so far.

2013-05-14 08:31:24 PM
I was hoping that there would be some watchable basketball like the late game last night. Right now this Pacers/Knicks game couldn't be any less entertaining.

/Unless it was Heat/Bulls. Farking Heat.
//Not that the Bulls have any decent chance of winning. Nobody who starts half their bench is going to win.

I guess Carmelo is allowed the Shaq rules.

So being one of the few on here who likes both hockey and basketball, I had a dilemma when pretty much every Islanders and Knicks playoff game was on at the same time. I watched the Islanders games because I'm more invested in them (yeah, I know, weird), but now there's no conflict. And now that I've been actually been watching this...the Pacers are better. Simple as that.

How long do you think Melo and Durant spend on the phone with each other biatching about their supporting casts?

I would imagine melo would complain like that, but durant seems to have a touch of class and congratulate him on his mvp vote and regular season scoring title.

/tho i live in the denver area so not a lot of kind words are said about melo

well damn the knicks are not going to set any record low scoring with this pace.

they might break 70....

Good to see the Pacers big scorers are stepping it up.

The joke is that they have 10 players capable of a 20 point game but no one who averages big numbers.

If you're letting Tyler Hansbrough look like a professional basketball player, it's probably time to call it a game.

On a related note, where the hell are all the Knicks fans? Biggest city in the US?

well they also said if new york can win this game this game they would tie the serious, so he might be really medicated.

I don't see anybody beating Miami, just give them the trophy and end the season early.

Remember the beginning of the season when everyone said the NBA put the fix in and it was going to be Lakers/Heat? Those were the days,

the knicks would need an entire quarter to score another 12 pts lets just get em off the court and wheel out the spurs for the gs game

I think everyone was saying OKC/heat and barring injury... because injuries and bars go together

/injuries happen

The NFL playoffs are one game, somebody has to beat Miami 4 times out of 7 and that just ain't going to happen.

Never say never. Pacers pushed them last year in the playoffs, and are 2-1 against them this season.

The Heat have won something like 38 or the last 40 game LeBron has played. I hope he is wrong too but it is going to take a lot.

The Heat only have a 5-4 advantage over Indy in the last 9 games they played. James played in all 4 losses.

This still amazes me about the run lebron had in clevland, durant and melo until the "decision" always had remarkably better supporting casts. you take them away from both teams and those teams are nowhere near as bad off as clevland was, also why rose shouldnt have won the MVP two years ago and his brother should shutup,

....well, there is that too.

Still dont think the Pacers have a shot. Here is hoping they can get past the Knicks and get their offense working.

OKC's current supporting cast without Westbrook or Harden is IMO about as bad as LeBron's supporting cast prior to the arrival of Jamison. The Cavs with Jamison might have actually been slightly better. Jamison, Varejao (sp?), Delonte West, Mo Williams... those were some quality rotation pieces who I don't think were that afraid of the moment. Serge Ibaka on the other hand took a huge step backward when asked to assume a larger role. I completely agree that Rose did not deserve the MVP, though.
