Cool.  But whatever you do, don't program them to replicate.

The replicators suddenly got a lot less scary when I realised that they were coded in Javascript and Flash

You don't THINK you've implanted anything in any human?  You're not SURE?  Maybe you should go check.

I think that is pretty much a weasel-word admission that they have.

Depending on your POV, it's either:
"It's over, folks, will the last meat human please turn out the lights"
or
"So when am I gonna get my implanted phone, Internet access, instant expert systems and 100,000 petabytes of RAM, huh?"
or even
"So when can we use this to (1) create nanobots to medically fix anything wrong in the human body and (2) create an artificial body for the lost causes?" (Quantum Apostrophe, you should appreciate this.)

Now is a good time to be alive.

there are many numbers of implantable IC devices, from pace makers to those fancy implants that make people not deaf anymore..

So, any guesses on it`s power?

I`m guessing 0.01Mhz and single core.

Hopefully we can get a cable going to the connection between our eyes and brains, and put in a splitter with a switch, so we can choose either to see our vision, or gloriously monumentally large high definition film. That'd be swell. Then we can use it to keep us entertained in hibernative naptosis for our epic millenium long journeys between the stars in our 3D printed spaceships with QA.

It was particularly memorable because Horatio Sanz started laughing at him.
