When I think "most tweets in the world", I think spammers, so, ya, Jakarta sounds about right.

When I think most tweets in the world I think the Jackson 5 singing "Rockin' Robin" but I haven't really been keeping up with stuff.

Among the interesting Twitter tidbits: New York City users are the most retweeted.

Well yeah. That's where Goldman Sachs Elevator is tweeted from.

Well, subby, it has to be a very large city where this type of technology nests with the income level and communication needs of the people, so "massive, developing-world, Asian city" does make sense.

I follow Ricky Gervais and I'm inclined to disagree.  That's not to say that even he bats 1.000, but a healthy .320 at least.

Yeah, I'm not sure I would have named Jakarta first necessarily... but I definitely would have gone with "very large Asian city". Probably would have guessed Bangkok or Hong Kong first.

What does a tweet from Jakarta look like?
"Another dead cow floated by in the river.  Someday we'll need to clean that up"

For those that don't know, what a Jakarta river might look like

Why is it that you need that many jobs?  At the rate you seem to be going you are getting a new job every 2 years.  Sounds like a pita and shiatty jobs, maybe you shouldn't be accepting those positions from twitter people.

I would have thought Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata, but then maybe I am influenced by all the twitter related stuff around the IPL in thinking it is more popular there than it is.
