FTA: it was discovered using a novel method that applies a weird relativistic effect as theorized by Albert Einstein.

Does it also burn belly fat?

Wait, we're exploring the universe from our computer chairs? I thought we could only explore the universe with people in tin cans floating in the upper atmosphere?

I swear I'm the only one who got my Guinness towel, and I was even underage at the time. I still have it at home on my makeshift bar.

Article writer, and subby by extension, sold me a "pint" and used a trick glass that only holds 12oz.

Wow, it took until the very last paragraph of that article to be disappointed by it.

That was a horribly written article and I believe the author should be disappointed at his lack of understanding.

Wasn't someone going to make a badge for that or something?

Only for a millisecond or so before a great big "NO" appears on the screen. "One does not take a different tactic; one changes tactics or employs tactics."

My English teacher was a horrid woman. I hear her voice whenever I get corrected or correct someone else. And it's a sick compulsion.

I got mine.  I ended up giving it to an Everquest bud from Sweden who was visiting in Las Vegas.  Anyone who traveled that far just to do some drinking deserved it.

Nice and all, but I'm not sure why this method will be more effective long-term than orbital phase reflected light variations. When we finally get the successor to Kepler up there, with more sensitive equipment, that method is going to find thousands (if not millions) of exoplanets since it's largely independent of orbital inclination.

yeah you read too much. Gravity bends light, the fact that someone was able to do something useful with that fact is cool.

Permit me to take a different tactic than most would and say bravo...

Wait, doesn't a giant nebula made of alcohol imply that somewhere out there there is (or at least was) a giant nebula of bacteria with millions of tons of sugar for it to feed on?

Nope many alcohols can be formed in other ways. Alcohol is a common molecule formation. It can be fluffed
formed as easily as any of the amino acids that are the basic building blocks of life but were created before life.
