Do you know what is even worse?  Obama drank straight from the milk carton and put it back in the fridge. To top it off it was soy milk!

Right, because this is the very first time he's had to defend himself against something the Republicans are calling a massive scandal. No offense BillAyersgate, ReverendWrightGate, MuslimGate, SecretSocialistGate, BirthCertificateGate, FastAndFuriousGate and SolyndraGate.

Can you be anything but reactive to insanity?

2013-05-14 09:59:47 AM
Republicans are pathetic, and they're dragging the entirety of our public discourse down to their level of filth.

And the best (or worst, really) part?  All the "scandals" under Obama COMBINED will never add up to one War in Iraq or one Katrina.

The hypocrisy is more disgusting than anything else, I think.

The heights of pleasure the republicans are feeling now will only hurt when this all turns out to be nothing.

Ignoring that this shiat isn't his fault...how much more disrupted can his agenda get? He already can't get anything done because of the GOP. The right wingtards are already past maximum derp. It can't really get much more disrupted

In other words, Republicans are wasting time and taxpayer dollars. Must be a day that ends in "day".

D'you know how unlikely it is that ANY of these scandals directly involve Obama? I know you like to think it's the President's job to micromanage everything, but it really isn't, And while he has a basic idea of how the groups are operating, it isn't his damn job to follow how the IRS handles every single application, or how the DoJ is working to plug leaks, or how consulates are staffed.

But hey, keep cheering the Republicans who are focused more on pinning these 'scandals' on Obama or Hillary than actually punishing the people who WERE responsible, or otherwise doing their goddamn jobs!

I like that. "-gate" has become obnoxious.

The irony is that the republicans are using the same pedantic tactics Clinton used during Headghazi when he asked what the definition of "is" is...

"Well he said it was an act of terror, not a terrorist attack. And...and what act of terror was he referring to, anyway? Maybe he was referring to Bruce Willis' breakout vehicle "Die Hard". WE DON'T KNOW, THEREFORE IMPEACH!"

Pathetic.

Yes, the President should micromanage security at consulates, how the IRS handles every single form, and how the DOJ plugs leaks. Hell, it's not like he has anything better to do since House Republicans refuse to write any bills that have a chance in Hell of reaching his desk.

You really have to love the Obama Faithful:

"You can expect Obama to know what is going on with Benghazi, or the IRS, or the Justice Dept. and phone records!"

I must have missed something in the news, because I don't get how this IRS thing is a scandal for Obama. When all this was allegedly going on, wasn't the Director for the IRS the guy Bush put there, and didn't he resign in '09?

As far as the AP phone records goes, that's a different story. If they're involved in that business then Holder and Obama can both burn for it as far as I'm concerned. It's ironic, really. The government is kind of shooting themselves in the foot with all this warrantless "big brother" crap. By being so blatantly overbearing about conducting surveillance on citizens, they're just going to push people to start encrypting everything and using disposable phones, which makes their job so much harder.

Yes,  a high-priority, high-risk, special operation to catch one of America's top enemies is EXACTLY THE SAME, in terms of Presidential oversight required, as micromanaging diplomatic security.
