namegoeshere: Live by the sword...
WhiskeySticks: This should be put into practice in the good ol' US of A.Always been a fan of hand removal for stealing.
J.Shelby: Alvarado's mother, Norma, said police had raided her home at least six times in search of her son in a neighborhood called the United States, one of many named for a country."There were times when I would close the door to give him time to escape," she said. "They even came on New Year's Eve."In the middle of the night on Feb. 14, six masked men who identified themselves as police took Alvarado's 13-year-old grandson. She told them he was studying, that he was a good boy.Yeah, aid and abet the gang leader, then cry when your family gets hurt. biatch.
xaks: I simply do things the easy way, and refrain from taking 'business trips' to third-world cesspools. Its a LOT easier to not be mugged/beaten/raped/robbed that way.
Lotion_Motion: GOOD!!farking bastards deserve it! Some friends of mine were assaulted (read: Father beaten unconscious, wife was raped and beaten) and both ended up in the hospital while on a business trip by the 18th Street Gang. They were pulled out of their cab while stopped in traffic.Of course they were never caught.
nucular bum: I remember back in the '80s and '90s, being an activist against death squads in Central America. It was members of political organizations being targeted, people fed up with exploitation and oppression and being biatches for US corporate interests, people who dared to speak out and stand up.The people the death squads are now targeting, I have very little sympathy for them. Sure, they grew up in poverty, but so did most Hondurans. It's just that they learned their gangsterism in the good ole US and A. From what I've learned about the MS-13 aka Mara Salvatrucha, these farkers are as ruthless and needlessly violent as they come. They learned death-squad tactics themselves from the years-long civil war in El Salvador, the one the Reagan & Bush Administrations fueled by arming the corrupt Salvadoran government to the teeth. Now they victimize ordinary citizens. Strong medicine is called for against these gangs. They are a blight upon any nation they might find themselves in. I hope these gangs are effectively wiped off the face of the earth./i often fantasized about death squads coming after gangs here in chicago//i still think the path of social justice is most effective in treating the underlying causes///hold an olive branch in one hand for those who will, a sword in the other for those who won't
151: Erm...you know what the "MS" in MS-13 stands for, right?
desertfool: I spent a lot of time in San Pedro Sula in the 90's. I met my wife (we were both there for work for the same company) in SPS in 1995. We love Honduras and the Honduran people, and would love to retire there. I still have a lot of friends in Honduras.I am afraid to go there at this point. I really hope that the MS-13/18th Street problem is dealt with, but in a court of law, not on the streets./Not really, do what you have to do.//There is no place that has ever touched me as deeply as the Mayan ruins in Copan, and the beautiful village of Copan Ruinas.
ObscureNameHere: xaks: I simply do things the easy way, and refrain from taking 'business trips' to third-world cesspools. Its a LOT easier to not be mugged/beaten/raped/robbed that way.Wait! You can just tell your employer to go eff themselves instead taking the trip like you were told to do? Must be nice to be independently wealthy...
