After those polls are unskewed, he should have at least 110% favorability.

What do you expect him to say, "I'ma gonna lose this one and you know it." That will really improve his chances. Give the guy credit, he isn't all Romney delusional about his numbers. He at least concedes that at this point he is trailing.

Give it your best shot. We're cheering you and your "internal poll" on.

Now, now, these may well be legit internal polls that haven't been unskewed, harmonized or otherwise done like the chicken.

Or he may have the statisticals. I guess we'll know when polls from organizations that aren't rightist operatives start turning up.

These unskewings will only make election day more entertaining for democrats.

When the local pundits can't muster enthusiasm for your campaign, you know you're in serious trouble.

My bad, that was Glenn Beck's map... Except the District went for Romney and Obama won Hawaii:

This is Massachusetts.  It won't be a close race.  Democrats have this in the bag.  They learned their lesson from Coakley, there's no way Markey can lose.

The endorsement that everyone running for elected office wants: "I suppose he's not as bad a candidate as Romney".

I didn't say his position was enviable. I am just saying that this is the weapons grade derp people are making it out to be.

The sad thing is that Gomez is already pretty much shown himself to be just as clownshoes as Romney. Read up on the tax credit he took on his house in Cohasset. Total amateur hour. We get it, you're a successful guy and a former soldier, that's great, we don't want you as a senator.

Gomez?  The guy who was a spokesman for the OPSEC group that tried to swiftboat Obama over the killing of bin Laden?

Yeah, good luck with that one.

Yep...the scum never really ever leaves the hot tub.  Maybe it gets caught in a corner between the jets, maybe it ends up in the filter for awhile....but it never really is gone.

They're claiming a 3.4% error margin on the poll of 800 people. However, when sampling small fractions of the population, the two-sigma confidence interval is at 100%/sqrt(N)... which at N=800 is 3.5%.

That's not a big difference, and I'm working from remembered rule-of-thumb. Nonetheless, while it doesn't make the claims stink like week-old dead mackerel, it does add an additional note of seafood to the inherent fishiness of internal poll numbers disclosed by a campaign. Perhaps a professional statistician might explain what's going on, but meanwhile color me skeptical.
