So I go back to my hometown and stop by an old dive bar I used to frequent cause they used to have $1.50 well drinks.  I go in and it's.... well it went hipster.  They've now got 175 different kinds of bourbon which was good because I wanted a double bourbon and coke to get a buzz started.  Handlebar mustache behind the bar doesn't want to "ruin" the bourbon with sugary mixer.  I grew up close enough to a distillery to smell the mash every single day of my childhood.  I've forgotten more about bourbon than this twait will ever know.  But I wanted a cheap drunk and he's being petulant about his precious elixer being adulterated.  So I ask him if he's so particular, why is everyone there drinking farking Stroh's and PBR?  He said that different those are "blue collar beers".  So I told him to make me a blue collar highball before I shaved his mustache the hard way.  He came to his senses after that.

DarkSoulNoHope: LewDux: DarkSoulNoHope: Nice, instead of responding to my post with an intelligent retort of why in your opinion that I'm "wrong", you instead show a scene from Naked Gun 33 and 1/3. I really love trolls, they make arguments so much easier with their ...

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results =

You're still not replying to the point I made, instead you're just putting out links. Plus you're trolling in the same manner you did in the thread you linked to. But at least we're both consistent, I make a long and detailed description of why I believe "Post-Punk" is a shiatty title to infer to musical styles, and how they're used by hipsters to mislabel some bands and you do This.

So you went to a place of business, and when the owner of the place said that they didn't serve what you wanted, you threatened physical violence until you got it?

Do you realize how much of a huge asshole that makes you look like? We're talking

Why don't you link me directly to their responses that you believe you agree with? Or just copy them and post them on this thread then so you can "win" the argument with barely any work at it whatsoever! (because in the threads you mentioned, I haven't seen anyone make a comment on what particular common *style* Post Punk portrays in a similar manner to each band that apparently plays it) As for Hipsterism and what it is, since you and Tats love saying "No one knows what it really is, so they don't know what they're making fun of", I'll just leave this here since you like links. (forgive his William Shatner impression though, lol)

DarkSoulNoHope: Why don't you link me

Tatsuma: ... post-punk is a specific style of music, it doesn't related to a certain period.

DarkSoulNoHope: I'll just leave this

Too much irony

Yeah I mean the stupidity of associating post-punk with a certain period rather than musical genre broke my brain to the point I couldn't even write that sentence without the end going 'it doesn't related'.

I swear this is one of the stupidest things I've seen on Fark, and someone just accused me of saying that Ricky Gervais has been struggling doing something funny since Extras because he's not a zionist.

Yet the post-punk shiat is even more retarded.

At the Stanley Kubrick exhibit at LACMA...actually at the gift shop grabbing a couple of cheap blue rays of Kubrick films. Hipster couple walks up, picks up a copy of Lolita. Girl hipster says "I'm gonna buy this." Guy hipster scoffs and tells the girl "No way, that's not nearly obscure enough."   My internal reaction was simply curiosity, wondering how I had stumbled upon buffoons who were so blatantly proving stereotypes to be real...then the guy says "Surely we can find some Kubrick films online, on VHS or something, that no one knows about."  I laughed audibly at them. They were confused. I was entertained.

Doubt all you want. I was shocked at the whole scene myself....It didn't feel like reality, but in fact was. Oh, maybe I'm supposed to have an IPHOne and film it, or else it didn't really happen....?
