Soldiers have been committing atrocities for thousands of years. This isn't anything new or shocking.

Well, that's progress, they're eating long pork

Now that the Free Syrian Army has all but been obliterated and is a shadow of itself, and the bulk of the forces are a mix of internal fundamentalist and outside Jihadists, it's pretty fair to say that both sides of the conflict are pretty much just as bad. The only reason why Assad has a higher bodycount at this point is the fact he had a headstart and he has better forces.

The even most depressing realization to come out of this is that him staying in power might ultimately be the best thing for the region and Syrians as a whole.

Fffffffffff

How is that even a worry? I don't think this civil war interrupted their plans for the Syrian invasion of New England.

Do you know what this thread is missing? A completely batshiat insane korean advert for Hannibal

Narrator: He has such a legend-way of eating, that it makes you hungry every single time you watch him! H-Hey, I uhn, I like meat too ... I'll have a taste too -
Crowd: AH HOLY shiat EEEEE DAMN fark WHEW WOW HOT HOT MUY CALIENTE

Narrator: Oh. But as time passes on, we can definitely see the psychopathic side of Dr. Hannibal Lecter - to where will his madness go!?

Hannibal: huehuehue it's blood ^0^
Hannibal: I can help you. ( HEHEHE I'LL HELP YOU HIDE THE BODYYYY <3 )
Abigail: ARE YOU CRAZY??

Narrator: His hairstyle and his gorgeous eyes definitely stand out in this show - it's the one who takes in stray puppies from the streets and take care of them - the warm-hearted, sweet, Will Graham!

Will: ... Is this a little too much?
Dog: WOOF FARK YES ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH KIBBLE FOR US??? but i am dog

Now just make that about Syrian cannibals.

If the rebels are eating the hearts of their enemies, it's a little difficult to choose who to root for.  It's Syria, so presumably a vanilla middle-of-the-road option doesn't exist.

Cannibalism, possible use of chemical weapons, torturing and killing children. The rebels are major league dicks.

that is a common misconception.  The instinct is just to feed, and not on any particular part of the body.  You can thank hollywood for that, what sounds better "braaaaaaains" or "quadraceptsssssss"

Neither, you just have a terribly limited and embarrassingly pop-culture idea of zombism.

We'll fark anybody as long as they're doing our bidding, I guess. "So, you're using sarin, torturing & killing kids, and eating the hearts of Syrian government troops? Well, we can overlook that as long as you take out Assad - Israel wants him gone - so, here's some training, a bunch of military weapons, and we'll throw in some global propaganda for you."

Really? Bioshock 2 sucked so hard I gave up on the series.

But you really, REALLY can't think of any reason why someone would know a famous song? Not even one or two little niggling ghosts of an idea why I might know a song?

No, no, here you don't have to vote at all. This isn't a thing where you have to make a choice one way or the other, at least from our perspective. There might have been a point in time where our helping might have been a net benefit, but if there was, that window has closed, and now it's best to just stand on the sidelines like we've been doing and, as ugly as it is to watch, let it play out to whatever end it plays out.

Oh please you think that 1) America does Israel's bidding  and 2) Israel would rather have the rebels in power?

Completely clueless.

2013-05-13 06:44:37 PM
After helping rebels in multiple countries over the last few decades just to see them turn on us, hopefully we've learned our lesson and stay out of Syria. If you want to help the rebels, fly to a neighboring county, cross the border, and find the nearest guy eating the hearts of his enemies and ask if they're recruiting.

So...

What *if* this wasn't a Syrian rebel?

What if the Syrian government realized the international light was on them, and decided the only way to keep outside forces out of the country/war was to make the other side seem worse?

One "leaked" video was enough to change everyone's views in this thread so far. How do we know it is real and not just made up?

/either way, it's pretty screwed up.
