Perlin Noise: Why is it that almost everything about the ISS and the exploration of space makes me tear up with pride for human beings.

I guess I am just a cheese ball that way. Some people are proud of their country, honor student or sports team. I am proud of mankind's astounding accomplishments. It will never be boring or old hat and will always make me emotional.

From sailing around the world to landing a probe on Mars, anyone that passionately pursues a better understanding of the universe through risky exploration, is okay in my book.

So am I. Commander Hadfield especially has re-awoken my love for space exploration. He's the second-best! (Next to Buzz Aldrin, who punched a guy in the face for saying that the moon landing was faked.)

Ishkur: Oh, well, thank you subby

I didn't think to post it to Fark. But I did tweet it to Commander Hadfield. It was well-received.

Oh yeah?  Well I asked Commander Chris to take a picture of me from space, and he totally did!
