Can't wait to see what kind of foolish chicken-farking this study get used for by the GOP women-haters.

Vote for him for what? Ovulating women need to get their minds out of their uteruses. Uteri?

Well no shiat. The future the GOP wishes to usher in makes David Copperfield seem like a dream world. Who wants to bring a child into a blasted wasteland of fundamentalism, objectivist politics, child labor and militarism. Your autonomic gynecological cycle is smarter than most red state voters.

Women vote for Obama, therefore we need to get back to traditional voting (as the founders intended)- you know rich, white guys

Either way, the numbers need to be unskewed.

2013-05-13 10:55:28 AM
If the woman in question has reached menopause, isn't ovulation kind of a non-factor?

Also, I'd like to see the r-squared on the corrolation here.

hey, I'm from Oklahoma and I take exception to your comment about most red state voters, it's actually more than most, it's almost all.

All that did was make me think of John Lithgow singing the Oklahoma song in 3rd rock from the sun.

I'd like to see a study like this done using a male sample, since men also have a hormonal cycle.

I wonder why?

We get it. His penis is black.

2013-05-13 11:04:41 AM
I don't recall an "are you ovulating" check-box on the ballot.  How did they determine that number?

I think we can all agree that women shouldn't be allowed to vote at certain times during their cycle.

How does this correlate to horny men who voted for Palin  (ok, McCain, but nobody cared about him)

It is, but consequently, this might not be taking Obama's age-appeal into account as a frustrating factor.  Since he consistently does better among the young than the old, post-menopausal women might be dragging the non-ovulation numbers away from him while leaving the ovulation numbers unchanged.

Yeah that's the point. If you font exclude the post menopausal crowd you skew the "not ovulating' group towed older women and we already know that age is a big factor in voting.

GOP is sure to use this as a basis for hormonal testing at polls.

Maybe it had something to do with Rmoney saying if you want to go to college ask your parents for the money, the govt should not be in the education business.

So this is why Obamacare doesn't cover hysterectomies.

I was also wondering if subby knew what "ovulation" or "menopause" meant, or if he's one of those people that tune out when women bring up their feminine hygiene.

I used to sing better when I was ovulating, too.

Obama was elected because of bleeding-heart vag liberals.

2013-05-13 11:35:23 AM
Conservative women become so intensely afraid on election day that they can shut down their ovulation cycles, allowing them to cast legitimate votes for Republicans.

I read a pretty thorough smack down of this study last year.

It's possible.  Granted, it's unusual enough to warrant writing it up as a case report, but it can happen.

According to the study, women in committed relationships who ovulated were more likely to vote Romney. I think the take-away here is that being in a committed relationship is bad for women.

Did they study the effects of simply having a uterus?  Simply having one tends to make one more liberal, less religious, and a touch more sane than most....

Let me just point out how weird it is for someone named "Parthenogenetic" to be commenting on ovulation.

You see, Hillz delayed sending in the F-16s because she was ovulating and had a desperate need to be fertilized by B. Barack the Islamic Shock No0bama right at that moment, thus distracting him at the key point where he might have seen the difference between terrorism (what Muslims do every day) and acts of terror (what an individual white person does when he Muslims out and commits an act of violence).

I had one female friend tell me she was voting for Obama simply because she had sex dreams about them.

That's the kind of concrete data-point everyone should use to exercise their franchise.

What is the ratio to the amount of estrogen of an ovulating woman to the amount of estrogen of the aged male?

I know this is "just jokes, baby" but I have read more than a few times from female freepers that they are more than alright with only men voting.  Now, I know this is a very small subset of women who probably only vote straight ticket R's in accordance to their husband's wishes, but it still blows my mind.

My wife isn't interested in politics.  My sister could usually give a darn about that kind of stuff.  But the bullcrap (Akin, etc) spewed during the last election pretty much ensured that people like my wife and sister weren't going to vote for anyone with an (R) attached to their name.  My wife biatched about Obama a bit, but refused to vote for Romney.  For all I know, she may have left the presidential section of her balllot blank.
