I haven't seen a Titus have a week this bad since

Three times in one week is pretty impressive.  He was arrested for DUI, then arrested for trying to steal his car from the impound lot, then arrested for breaking into a house.

Even the Bengals didn't have farkups this big.

puffy999: Guess he probably wishes he still played for the Lions...

Ugh, that Green Bay game where he ended by lining up wrong... he dropped some great passes in the first quarter that would have set up (or scored) a couple of nice touchdowns. I have a firm belief that he dropped those on purpose.

I'll feel better when he ends up behind bars long term or dead (without anybody else coming to harm). I suspect it will end that way within the next year, at this rate.

There is some serious mental health shait going on with this man.

You'll feel better when he ends up dead?  Seriously?  That's pretty harsh, even for Fark.

I actually feel sorry for the guy.  He's mentally ill and needs help.

He won't get the help though. His story will not end well. I don't wish him dead, but that's one of the two most likely endings to this whole mess.

I'd just rather have his story end without others being injured or killed. I'm afraid that he'll end up taking a life or two before it's all over, though.

Wait, Orange County Sheriff's Deputies chased him down after a brief foot pursuit? Let me guess...he sprinted 5 yards looking for the bubble screen, started waving his hands to indicate he was open when the pass wasn't there, but got chop blocked by two deputies and was restrained and arrested while complaining that should have been a flag on the play.

I see 'Spice' and 'Bath Salts' are still available to purchase in California.

I can't help but think Titus might be partaking heavily of synthetics. It does nothing to help individuals with mental issues already.

/Also explains why he wanted out of Michigan last year so bad... the state made them illegal in August 2012

2013-05-13 12:48:11 AM
He was a farkup at BSU.  He's a farkup in the NFL.  He'll be a farkup in prison.

Seconded. This is a guy completely losing his shiat right now. Whether it's drugs, mental issues, or a combination of the two, this has gone from being a guy with an ego problem to a guy making incredibly stupid decisions, to just plain sad.

Thank God Al Davis is dead, or he'd be salivating at the idea of signing a wide receiver with an image problem, and Titus Young's act would continue on and off the field.

He was in trouble regularly as BSU.  Drugs, fighting, being a thug, etc.  A real fustercluck of a human.

I have a feeling this isn't something new and is only just now a news item because the media machine of the NFL isn't involved any longer.

I think he already admitted that he intentionally stunk it up to prove to everyone how great he is.

2013-05-13 06:26:27 AM
FTA: Young was outside when police arrived, and after "a brief foot pursuit," Young was arrested by deputies.

Two of the deputies have been signed as free agent wide receivers by the Oakland Raiders.

I read in a different article that he intentionally lined up in the wrong place during a game against the packers? And he would walk out on practices and tell coaches to go fark themselves. He's gotta be bi-polar or schizoid or something.

Thing is, CJ would probably be the first player to reach out and try to help Titus out. It seems like everyone says the same thing in that he is the most sincere, nice person.

Off the board. Only way for Vegas to make money on that would be to take out a life insurance policy on him.

He's got enough of a brain to think he'll still get a job in the NFL; he'll find out it's not the case.

They also can cut them too, apparently.

What's the advantage for the agent to do that?  Is the agent really spending that much time and effort on him?  Who knows, maybe prison will serve a wake-up call, come-to-Vishnu moment, or get him the medication he needs and in a couple years he'll be able to make his way onto a roster mid-season at the league minimum.

Don't be so quick to dismiss things so easily. The guy may have some legit mental issues. I'm not one to say that too quick, but this is getting sad in a hurry.
