Eh, whatever. He's a really nice guy.

2013-05-12 06:04:50 PM
He should have gotten that money up front, because it's gone now.

2013-05-12 06:18:45 PM
Is it his point is that 47 million people joined Facebook in the last four years in order to like Vin Diesel?

2013-05-12 07:03:29 PM
That is kind of really insane reasoning.

Marcus Aurelius: He should have gotten that money up front, because it's gone now.

You mean never existed, right?

I didn't get the impression that he was being serious.

Vin Diesel's one of those guys like Justin Timberlake-  I really tried hard not to like him for the longest time, but the more I see, the more apparent it is that he's just a regular-ass, affable guy who is grateful for his success.

Mark Zuckerberg should watch out, I hear Vin keeps what he kills

He is a life long D&D player and he even wrote the forward for this book. He has never been ashamed to admit he plays, even though it is indirect contrast to his Celebrity image.

That seems pretty damn genuine to me.

Dude was the Iron Giant. He can do whatever he wants.

If you re-arrange the letters of his name, it spells, "I end lives."

So, when I started talking to the fans, I became the No. 1 page in the world. Over Coca-Cola, over huge companies.

Sometimes I see "friends" liking pages like Wal-mart and I'm always like WTF?

He was obviously kidding.  And what he said about the popularity of his page over others is absolutely correct.  He's also a nice guy, although I'm not especially into his movies.  (The Iron Giant is an exception.)

Not really, if he thinks that facebook went on to take his advice and implement it.

Or he was joking.

But whatever.

if you rearrange the letters in Spiro Agnew's name is spells "grow a penis".

If you're gonna post Vin Diesel facts you have to do them right. The proper fact is, if you rearrange the letters in his name it reveals his credo "I end lives".

It's kind of an interesting study in stereotypes since Vin Diesel is one of the most unashamed nerds in Hollywood (and even does sci-fi with the Riddick series) but because he doesn't look like one, he doesn't get any of the nerd cred.

2013-05-13 07:35:56 AM
Not only does he play D&D, he's working on getting his D&D Drow witch hunter PC named  Melkor to the big screen. (Obviously it won't be a "Drow" per se, he might call it a Dark Elf or something.)

Citation required, you say?

Vin Diesel would be a cool guy to have a beer with....at a LAN Party playing CoD or BF3.

And yes, he was joking.

2013-05-13 08:09:42 AM
I think what he said was:

"I am not a gun."

2013-05-13 09:13:03 AM
...so I read this yesterday, clicked in to read the comments today, and JUST REALIZED I had been thinking this article was about Dwayne Johnson. I know I read Vin Diesel. I pictured The Rock, sitting in an armchair with a laptop sending pokes out willy nilly.

I need more fark and less Disney Junior in my life.

He does generally seem like a good guy. He's not completely genuine, but that's his decision to make.

Plus he's probably the world's buffest D&D player.

Actually, Facebook owes whomever decided to drop the college email requirement billions of dollars. That allowed all the uneducated simpletons to litter it.
