CBC News also contacted an insurance company in Winnipeg who said generally coverage is not provided for damage to homes caused by shoreline ice build up or water-borne ice.

Wtf is the point of insurance if it doesn't cover you when your house is destroyed. YOU HAD ONE JOB. Fark you, insurance co.

Seriously, that is end of the world shiat. WTF is next after sink holes and lake effect ice? Gravity selectively quits and we have furniture stores burning up in the atmosphere.
