Once again, and as I have said over these last few weeks, this is an opportunity for all of us to be reminded that freedom of speech and freedom of expression do not constitute a freedom to dismiss or disrespect the beauty of anyone's race, the sacredness of anyone's religious belief or the uniqueness of anyone's nationality.

Like hell.

Her right to be nakedish stops at my right to be left alone in public. If she wants to cover herself with feces and roll around in crackers with three lesbians cool just do it in private.

It's really strange, you'd think that it would show up on the net far sooner than now. I've seen some censored ones.

That, in fact, is the only thing freedom of speech is good for. If the only speech that is protected is inoffensive speech there'd be no reason to protect it at all.

Begoggle: The only thing that can stop a bad guy naked from the waist down, is a good girl naked from the waist down!!

A good girl would never participate in that vile nudity and a bad girl wouldn't need to be nude to stop me. She could do all sorts of amazing things while still clothed. Even (or maybe especially) completely covered in a skin tight black PVC Bodysuit with a matching face mask, high heel boots, a riding crop and, wait maybe I've said too much already.

Whar half naked Mohammeds, WHAR???

/Not impressed with this pretentious twat

2013-05-11 09:30:22 PM
As a lapsed Catholic/present non-traditional Christian who prefers his reality without a sickly-sweet veneer of bullshiat, allow me to say that I find absolutely nothing offensive about a half-naked woman in a (poorly crafted) pope outfit, Bishop Ringkisser.

What I find offensive is using Yeshua to exert control over the masses, to extort money from them, to wage wars, and to commit genocide.  What I find offensive is the abuse of children and subsequent coverups by men who claim to be pious servants of the Lord.  What I find offensive is the the twisting of the Messiah's message from one of near-Buddhist selflessness into one of utter self-interest.  What I find offensive is using the lure of Heaven or the fear of Hell to get people to serve you and your church's aims, when true service comes without thought of reward or punishment.

What offends me, Bishop Ringkisser, is you and your decaying, self-serving "church."

/same goes for any practitioner of the "Gospel of Prosperity" or any other movement that places the importance on ME ME ME

The premise that it is equally offensive to insult skin color as one's chosen religion is so absurd as to be unworthy of rejoinder or discussion.

Or perhaps dressed like a half-naked Mohammed pissing on the Koran.  Scratch that, that wouldn't be courage, that would be suicide.

No, both are bad. Only one was stupid enough to do it in a crowded public setting.

I doubt if a priest stood in the middle of the town square with a kid and announced, "Everyone, I will now diddle this kid," everyone would be, "Okay. Whatever, padre."

/in short, your logic sucks

If the best defense someone has to offer of themselves is "Hey, at least we won't murder you for criticizing our practices anymore! (offer void if you perform abortions)" then maybe they should rethink some things.

I didn't realize that Mohammed was still alive.  If she was dressed as Jesus the comparison would be apt.

Zubik is also anti-choice, anti-gay-marriage, and doesn't thing health plans should be required to cover contraception.

But hey, naked chick.

Given the dramatic differences between what Christians believe about Jesus and what Muslims believe about Mohammed... no, it really wouldn't be apt.

We get it, Islam is worse but it's not really the big threat to freedom here in this country like Christianity is. When we've beat down the Christian threat then we can take on those wacky Muslims.

I love that quote, especially because so many christians, and especially the catholic church, so readily dismiss the religious beliefs of others.
