Not one of the best I've ever seen, but damn good.

Gets all that done, and then casually rolls out of the way of the runner.  Just another day at Great American Ball Park.

Very nearly as good of a 2B as anyone in baseball, but largely under the radar unless he yaps on Twitter.  Rough playing in the Midwest.

Probably less to do with the Midwest and more to do with being on the Reds.  Being in the playoffs twice since the mid-90s tends to take the national spotlight off you.  There most noteworthy playoff event in those two trips was being on the losing end of the second playoff no-hitter in MLB history.

That can't have felt good, that's not the kind of thing you ever practice, using your knee on the bag like that.  Knees aren't made to do the kinds of things his did.

He made that look a lot harder than it needed to be.  If he'd just let the shortstop take it it would have been a pretty routine play.

Yes please: He made that look a lot harder than it needed to be.  If he'd just let the shortstop take it it would have been a pretty routine play.

1. Impressive play
2. Give it up for MLB's online video player and for MLB making it possible.

Plays like that are why he gets to run his mouth.

Now go beat the everloving fark out of the Cardinals already.

Great play, but would probably have been easier to let the SS get it.
