I am very skeptical of that Harrison Ford number. the star wars movies, Indiana Jones movies, Jack Ryan movies, Frisco Kid, etc.

I expected he'd be higher on the list.

Most of his bigger movies were made decades ago, and the numbers in that list aren't adjusted for inflation.

wow, if you look at average per movie, the harry potter kids are all on top, only 8 movies but all box office hits. wonder how much they actually made off those

Sheb Wooley would easily dethrone Frank Welker.

Ambivalence: Bathia_Mapes: RexTalionis: Frank Welker has been in everything. The man is a voice-over legend.

Yep, and it saddens me that a lot of people don't know who he is.

Still, it's kind of a neat honor to be the most famous man no one has ever heard of.

if you know anything about the movies, you heard of him.

Frank Welker Net WorthHow much is Frank Welker worth?$15 Million

It's a crazy world.

There's no way this is accurate. The Harry Potter movies alone made 7 billion dollars at the box office. That would put every actor in all 8 movies on the top of this list.

Don LaFontaine? Sure. This Welker guy? Never heard of him. Not trying to mean, I just havn't. Probably 'cos I've never watched the vast bulk of his work. Doesn't mean I don't 'know anything about the movies'.

I'm guessing this is domestic box office only.

I'm not surprised at Frank Welker getting the top spot, or John Ratzenberger at number 4 given the Disney and Pixar movies they have been in.  I'm surprised Jim Cummings is down to 28th.  I would have thought any 'Winnie the Pooh' or Tigger movies would put him higher.

This list also shows that people just love Samuel L. Jackson

I'm floored that Bay did not use Welker in the Transformers movies.  He was willing to use Peter Cullen.

Unless he had his arm twisted to use the original Optimus.  Even Hugo Weaving has gone on record as saying he has no idea why they picked him as Megatron.

kronicfeld: FlashHarry: john ratzenberger is number four?

He gets the Toy Story movies, Finding Nemo and possibly credit as an extra in The Empire Strikes Back.

CLick on his name and you'll see that Ratzenberger has had roles in pretty much all the Pixar movies in the last fifteen years, ahich put him into some of teh most successful movies ever made.

Slight threadjack. Ratzenberger also appeared in  Twilights Last Gleaming. It's a small role, but an awesome movie from 1977 that just came out on Dvd last fall.

Finally?  That was the first R-rated movie I saw in the theater.  Has a great Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack - which strangely sounds a bit  First Blood Rambo-ish!

Because Michael Bay is a talentless douchebag.

Too bad how much money it makes doesn't measure how good a movie is.

If there is an animal sound in a movie, it was probably Frank Welker. I heard he can make a noise that sounds like an entire flock of geese at once.
