Went to Burning Can last year, it was the same day the High Park fire started and we watched the smoke billowing over the foothills.

It was OK, definitely thought the Brewfest in Fort Collins was better, though.

Nothing worth going to.

I went to Qingdao for the last two years.

If you're a long term china person go ahead do it, you know what to expect and how to deal with drunk chinese men.

If you're there just doing the tourist road, skip it unless you're specifically in Qingdao the week of, don't plan your trip around it.

Beer... Thats the stuff that people who can't handle liquor drink, right?

I have been to many beer festivals, but none mentioned in TFA.
I have heard lots of good things about SAVOR, especially when it comes to pairing food with beer.
The Oregon festival is still on my list of things I would like to do.

BTW, Mondial de la Biere (Montreal) is coming up later this month. I will be there.

5/7 are "coasters." That automatically debunks the article.

The best beer festival of the year is...

...wait a second... it's already crowded enough, I don't want anyone else coming!

Beer fests: Pay $25 to get taste-sized sippers after standing in line for tickets.  Lame.

Instead of going to the Dallas Paste Fest, just go to The Flying Saucer on a Friday night.  100+ beers on tap from all over the globe and they are 9 bucks for a liter stein.

I'm digging brewfest in Bridgeport ct. Should make the list as that's the only thing that city has going for it. Drink all day and go out on a double a (or single a?) ball field and play catch. Plus food trucks.

Make sure to have a designated driver on the way out folks.... because it's a trap! Seriously

Don't know what beer fest you're going too but I went to great lakes last year and never got a small pour. Usually about half a glass. And as it got closer to the end of the day, they just started pouring whole beers and didn't even ask for tickets anymore. I got pretty trashed.

Make sure to avoid any beer festivals where a majority of the patrons look similar to this.

Any farkers wanna join me at the Oregon Brewer's Festival this summer. I always go. That much beer, that close to the light rail... Heck yes. I'd go even if I didn't get to drink for free there.

The wife and I might be going to the Maryland Craft Beer Festival in a couple of weeks. Thought about Brew at the Zoo, but weren't taken by most of the beers there - they're either standbys or beers we didn't like.

The Great Lakes Brew Fest in Racine isn't too bad.

I like Untapped in DFW but I'm not sure if it's even the best local beer festival. I think it's getting a lot of credit for the music, which is fun. But the actual beer list isn't the best.

No Michigan Brewer's Guild Summer Festival in Ypsilanti, MI.

Its not truth...It's CNN.

They can't get major news stories right...what should I expect from an opinion piece?

fark you CNN, you should be more focused on getting facts straight before you have one of your hacks google beer fests and print what they think sounds cool while meeting the deadline for fluff.

Brewfest happening here in Utica on the 3rd of August. $30 bucks for all you can drink from 20 or so various craft brewers for 5 hours. Always a good time. Bonus: It's held at our local zoo.

Or, you could move to Southern California, where going to a beer festival is another name for Amateur Hour.
