Fitzpatrick assures that the 72 pin connector has been faithfully restored, saving your lungs from the 'old skool' trick of blowing into your cartridge collection.

I hope it hurts to be this stupid.

> The leaping Blue Bomber etched into the NES is approximately 1/32" scale of the original pixel drawing

Um... what?

The case cutout looks about 5" tall to me.

Are they saying that Mega Man is 5" x 32 = 13'4" tall?  In real life?

it's the xbox infinity?

So are they never releasing another, or do you have to buy a new one every six months?

My girl's name is Zelda, and her sister is really hot, too. Getting a kick from these replies!

Back then, I didn't care for twitch games that were more memorization than skill. Every time you jump a chasm in Mega Man, you KNOW that you're on a collision course with an enemy, you just don't know where yet. Same with games like Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, and any other game that is supposedly remembered fondly as paragons of retro gaming.

Wake me when they make a Kirby mod.

Between that the the the scale issue mentioned by  poot_rootbeer I'm starting to wonder if maybe the author has experienced a traumatic head injury in the past.

Zelda is actually a very pretty name, and in my view enhanced by Miyamoto ripping off F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife.    If the wife would allow it Zelda is on my list for girls names

Ahh MegaMan, how Capcom has forsaken you.

You need the ol' "jump as far out as you can while safely landing back on the edge" technique. Castlevania/other non-air-control games nonwithstanding.

Kirby's Adventure was my first NES game but I never liked Kirby games much, they were like Mario's softer easier brother. Some of the newer Kirby games you can't even get hurt or die. Which is fine, but didn't appeal to me as much. Kirby does have some of the most artistically gorgeous games out there between KA being one of the graphical crowns of the NES, the SNES crayon-drawn Kirby 3, and Kirby's Yarn on the Wii.

If I had a 3D printer this is the kind of thing I would use it for. A new case for my yellowed SNES would be nice, and it wouldn't have to have ugly purple buttons. My beige TI-99/4a could use a shiny new case as well.

Epic Yarn is about scoring points, and getting an "A" grade is not easy. If you're into that kind of game, that's great. There have been a lot of games like that over the years that are about the grade more than they are about completion. I haven't beaten it, because it bores me. I play it with my kid. There are some things in World 1 I haven't figured out how to unlock, though.

Kirby's Return to Dreamland is pretty difficult, but easy when you have two players. It's still not NintendoHard, but it's really fun and getting all the little gears is a hefty challenge. I think I only have a couple left, which is a challenge since I have my 5 year old tagging along :)

You mean post a pic of Zelda screeching "Oz the Gweat and Tewwible?"

Problem is that build platforms on the current crop of home 3D printers are big enough to accomodate an SNES case.  Some are wide enough, some are long enough, most are deep enough, none are all three.

You could always create the design and then submit it to a place like Shapeways to have it printed on one of their gigantic industrial printers.  And why not go for gold plated stainless steel while you're at it?  It'll only cost you $10,000.

/If you had all fallen in love with the PC Engine like I told you to, you wouldn't be having these problems now.
