After they elect Ted Kennedy for life and replace a moderate Republican with a pants on head crazy extremist like Warren?

No, get out of here.

no no, remember she's "Pants on the head crazy" therefore she must be on the level with Ted Cruz crazy and I want to hear what she's been saying, cause last I checked, she's far from crazy, but she may just hide it well

so randomjsa, what makes her pants-on-the-head crazy? I want examples

IIRC, during the "ask your opponent" series during the party primary debate, Gomez tried to ask Markey a question.

I definitely remember his choice to decline the "people's pledge." He tried to go after Markey about hypocrisy re outside money, but polls on last night's news seem to indicate that approach didn't land. Even Hiller couldn't find a nice thing to say about his campaign.

.....are you sure it was the primary? They weren't primary contenders

a single digit race in Mass. is a victory unto itself. It should be a blow-out...just reflects poorly on the Dem candidate.

C'mon we elected three, count 'em three repub governors in a row. Bill Weld was, shall we say, less than serious and failed to finish his term. Paul Cellucci also chose to ditch the governorship when a diplomatic opportunity came along. Romney technically completed his term, but spending the last year of your administration running for president and taking every opportunity to badmouth the state of which are technically still governor doesn't count as "completing" a term in my book. I don't expect to see another repub governor of Massachusetts in my lifetime.  We gave the repubs a chance, all they had to do was their farking jobs, and they blew it. Come to think of it, that goes at the national level too. Any party that chooses to push an agenda in preference to providing good governance does not deserve power, and that's the repubs to a T.

Not really. At this point is mostly just reflects political burnout. Too many races too close together. Everyday people don't care that much anymore.

Suffolk University poll has Markey ahead 52-35. There's your double-digit race.

Yes, because Warren has never spoken out against the WH or the Democrat party as a whole, right?

Well, she hasn't voted against party lines.  Not even once.  In 117 votes, she's 100%.  There are only 4 senators out of 100 that are 100% party voters.  That's 4%.  Pretty small group.  Kind of hard to distinguish her from a rubber stamp.  The stamp couldn't do more.
