Let's go Bulls!

Rooting oh so much for the Bulls, but not optimistic about their chances. At least not unless Derrick Rose accidentally wanders onto that court in mid-2011 form.

2013-05-08 06:59:52 PM
I believe in miracles!

2013-05-08 07:03:53 PM
You're okay, Nate, let'shiat the FTs.

2013-05-08 07:05:09 PM
Wade T'd up.

2013-05-08 07:09:12 PM
Marco with a save AND threeball.

2013-05-08 07:11:00 PM
Nate's ice cold.

I guess even the best teams have their foil. Not that I'm predicting anything one or the other, but the fact that this Bulls team consistently plays them this close is, well, odd.

2013-05-08 07:12:52 PM
I wonder what the FT disparity would be if this series made it to game 7.

/Go Bulls!

2013-05-08 07:13:51 PM
hoping for a win, expecting the heat to come back strong. I'll miss most of the first half, hopefully the second half is worth coming back to.

Go Bulls!

Jimmy Buckets, wiiiiiide open from deep.

15-12 Chicago, 5:24 1st

As much as I like the way the Bulls are playing. God as my witness I hope the Heat wipe the floor with them for the next four games.

Could you imagine if the Bulls win without Rose? The idiots in the press would have their very own "Birth of a Nation" they would get to crucify both Rose and James. You know it's been killing them they couldn't write about how much they hated LBJ and you know they don't like the fact that Rose is looking out for his own health above their wishes. Skip Bayless would be jacking it live on camer 24 hours a day.

2013-05-08 07:15:56 PM
Celtics play them close too... best way to make trouble for the Heat is to make each possession on both ends a grind. It's pretty much the same game plan underdogs use to attack much better teams at the college level, except it's the NBA so the result is actually gripping.

I didn't think we'd see another basketball thread after last nights paltry 70 posts.  But I'm glad they gave us another shot.   Let's break 80 tonight!

Chicago up 15-12 5:18 1st.

2013-05-08 07:21:00 PM
I've always been mildly confused regarding Fark's lack of NBA fans.

I see what you mean but thats kinda what sports talk/analysis is already.  They're the teenage girls of the sports world.  They blow everything way out of proportion and can only consider their own opinion.

2013-05-08 07:21:40 PM
Damn LeBron isn't farking around tonight.

2013-05-08 07:21:55 PM
Miami getting hot.

19-15 Miami, 3:12 1st

2013-05-08 07:22:41 PM
Maybe he'll wear himself down, get sloppy on D later or something...*sigh*

There are a lot of southerners on Fark.  Go into the Hockey thread and ask why nobodies in the NBA thread.

Yep.  Make them play the half court and make each and every possession count.  All of this high flying offense and theatrics are built around fast break and transition buckets.  Take that away and they have to rely on fundamentals, which is sorely lacking amongst many of the 'elite' players at both the college and professional levels - particularly in the NBA, where the "seven steps isn't traveling if you're going for an epic dunk" is the norm.

2013-05-08 07:31:16 PM
Remember when they used to actually play the Banana Boat song?  Now its just a button to push to make trained monkeys say Day-o.

2013-05-08 07:32:42 PM
Did that go up and then back down through the hoop? Or did someone just hit the net.

2013-05-08 07:32:44 PM
25-20 Miami, 12:00 2nd

2013-05-08 07:32:56 PM
How did LeBron make that?  Jimmy Buckets had some pretty good D but that was supernatural.

Hit the net I believe.

2013-05-08 07:35:04 PM
I like how in the scrum James was pushing the midget on the court.

2013-05-08 07:35:34 PM
Bron, Wade, Noah all playing with a T.

Oh, we testy.

robsul82: Bron, Wade, Noah all playing with a T.

If Wade was T'd every time he excessively complained to the ref, he wouldn't make it a half.

Double foul?

2013-05-08 07:40:30 PM

robsul82: Double foul?

And the refs are getting into it... sigh...

2013-05-08 07:41:36 PM
Birdman gets a flagrant.

Oh, we tes-tay.

2013-05-08 07:42:32 PM
That's not a flagrant.

2013-05-08 07:43:02 PM
LeBron is going to win this game by himself, isn't he

2013-05-08 07:43:36 PM

Wasilla Hillbilly: I've always been mildly confused regarding Fark's lack of NBA fans.

Indeed. In the USA basketball is definitely more popular than hockey, but Fark definitely attracts a much larger hockey crowd. Demographics thing I suppose.

2013-05-08 07:43:42 PM
Okey dokey

2013-05-08 07:44:05 PM
Now a T on Teague, LOL

2013-05-08 07:44:05 PM
Marquis T'ed.

2013-05-08 07:44:12 PM
Well, that was interesting. Foul-o-rama so far.

2013-05-08 07:44:45 PM
And Anderson is trying to get himself thrown out.

2013-05-08 07:45:06 PM
This place is about to explode.  Hoping this doesn't turn into a brawl, at least while the Bulls are losing!

2013-05-08 07:45:10 PM
Nice Bird.  Somebody checks James.  Bird runs at and checks the ball handler.  Lacks subtlety but the message was clear.
